These rings are perfect for making re-enactment armor (LARPing). Steel is very strong and can take a hit. It is also much heavier than aluminium. The rings do tend to be tougher to bend, so we recommend using a strong set of pliers to do your weaving. Can be weaved into any pattern given you pick the correct aspect ratio.

16g 3/8" steel approx count of 600, i received 621 rings. these are sold by approx count not by the size of the bag. they are crimp cut, not saw cut. unfortunately i will need about 3 more bags to finish my project and i will need to wait for funds and probably a restock by then. pic shows all 621 rings in a 6 in 1 weave pattern

They are great.
Really strong. You need a 1.8mm hole punch for the rings to fit through, which I have. They are great.
