Great cane.
I bought this cane for my husband, who had bypass surgery in his leg. The cane is very sturdy and, if necessary, easily shortened. My husband chose the natural look, which I like. The cane is available in black and walnut. Overall, the quality and price were very satisfactory, and I would highly recommend this cane.

Good, Old-fashioned Cane
I like the traditional design as it is comfortable to grip and sturdy with force applied. Mine was used a lot after surgery and again when I tore a ligament but there's nothing to wear out except maybe the rubber tip. I prefer it over adjustable, aluminum models with the 90 degree grip. It doesn't collapse for storage but it's easy to hang on a doorknob or lay on a car seat and is always ready for use. The cane is sized by cutting excess length. I removed about an inch from the bottom of mine and reinstalled the rubber foot. I'm sure the cane will be in ready and waiting should I need it.

High quality, sturdy, comfortable.
Bought it to take stress of torn knee meniscus. Sturdy and comfortable to grip. Provides good walking stability. Entire surface smooth and well finished. I got it for everyday use but the wood quality is fine and aesthetic. If there's such a thing as a dress cane, this would be it. Recommend. Be sure that 36 inches is a good size for you.

It is a great cane and does help me hold my body straight.
It is a great product, very economical and strurdy as advertised. My only but is that the shape of the handle, eventhough is the same shape of canes for centuries if not milenia. modern designs have improve it like the "curved t" shape -this is how I call it. But nothing wrong with this traditional good looking and sturdy cane.

I've Purchased Three of These Canes Even Though I Have Only Two Legs!
Over the years, I've purchased THREE of the Carex ash-finish canes. I regrettably lost the first, so I had to purchase a second one. I bought the third cane in anticipation of my losing the second one. I like the way the cane looks with its light, yellowish-tan finish. I found the 7/8-inch diameter to be noticeably more comfortable for me even though I have hands that a gorilla would envy. And the price did not cause me indigestion. More than anything else, though, I am amazed at the strength of the cane. Over several years of hard, constant use, the cane has held together and save for its acquisition of a golden patina, one would think it to be brand new. Note, a hack saw might be required to trim this (and any) cane to a proper length but that minor surgery takes but a few minutes.

Better than a bamboo cane.
This cane is not a bamboo cane like my other cane and the diameter is a little bigger. But it flexes when I am walking or standing. That makes standing or walking way more stable. I hurt my back in the military in1970 and it has been bad ever since.

Product was great.
I ordered this for my son and he loved it. He is in a fraternity and they are planning a step show. He had to cut it down for what he was using it for.

Wood cane supposedly for a shorter person (32")
The wood is lighter than I thought & it doesn't look anything like the picture. It appears to be pretty sturdy, but I'm really short, 5'1" so it's a little long for me. It will have to do as my regular cane needs a repair & this is my "emergency" cane. I'll keep it because I have to have a cane. Don't want to use a walker, too clumsy.
