Oasis Horticubes 2 Pack

Shipping was fast, but I was surprised at how soft & fragile these are. This is my first time using these & damaged 4 cubes trying to get them out of the box. I'm a little afraid of how this will work considering I was looking for a medium that would not easily break apart (which this was highly rated for) & potentially clog up my aeroponics system. Has anyone else had similar issue???? This stuff crumbles to dust at the slightest touch I'm very apprehensive about even using it. I am thinking I would have been better off with Rockwood at 1/3 the price. I was very excited & now I'm very disappointed.

The cubes are a very simple and clean way to start cuttings from most any annual and some perennials. I use disposable Turkey baking pans to keep the cubes in water with good indoor protected sunlight. After the cutting starts to grow substantially, place the cube with plant in the ground or pot with good potting soil generously placed under and around the cube. Water well and watch it take off.

So much better than pellets. Raised percentage of success in germ process. Worth every penny, I will be coming back.
