Good product
Worked well use as per instructions left it in place for 2 days baited and success within a couple of hours.Would recommend

Bigger than the similar designs
Lots of traps on Amazon look very similar. These are the same design, but bigger, with a bigger spring.It worked well, as you can see from the photo. I lost sympathy for the rats when I see this one, only a few hours dead inside (taken outside for photo) had been eaten by another rat.The bait used was Bonne Maman hazelnut spread with a single unbleached hazelnut put in, and a few oats and raisins. A tiny bit of almond butter too.

Product quality is poor
One of the two traps in the box could not be set - the trigger mechanism was too weak and could not hold the kill bar so it immediately fired every time it was set. The other trap consistently failed to hit the rat. Overall, product quality is poor and it can't be relied on.

Rat killing trap
Be careful when setting, these are a powerful trap. Quick and lethal trap.

Worked perfectly
Followed the instructioms which included using the gloves provided to set the trap. Leaving the trap out for a few days for the rat to get used to it before baiting.Once Baited it killed the rat quickly and cleanly

1 of the traps do not work. It will no stay set at all so that is no use and disappointing for the price.The other one on the other hand seems like it would do the job if a rat was to go on it

Really sturdy and ease to set. Great value and well packaged.

Very effective
Bought two for a pesky rat in the garden annoying our dogs. Left out with nothing for 2 days. Set with bird seeds on day 3. Rat caught within an hour. The only thing is the bird seeds attract birds so maybe not advised to use them. We watched it and made sure we chase the birds away. The rat was undeterred though.
