3A 100-240v AC to 12v DC (3-Fan)

Works as expected.

The 3 Y connects were 3 pin connectors and I needed to plug them into 4 pin connectors. I removed the side of the 3 pin connector so the connector would put into the 4 pin connector.

Worked great to run 3 120 mmm fans

I needed to power some fans mounted outside of a computer case, and had been trying to decide on the best solution when I saw this and picked it up. Great price for a straightforward, simple solution that lets me mount fans anywhere, even where the mount is too far from a motherboard to easily plug in. I'll definitely be buying a couple more of these.

powers my three fans perfectly. no adjustment, just full power, but for my needs thats fine.

In that spirit I recommend the COOLERGUYS 3A 100-240V AC TO 12V DC THREE (3) FAN POWER SUPPLY over other options you might be considering. That being said, the pin on the power supply was bent and leaning against the side of the connector. If I had plugged it in it would have shorted. Once I was able to “force” the fan adapter cable onto the pin, it would only provide power to the fan if I wiggled it, a certain way. In my case, I have a fanless media server, but it still gets very hot. I took an old PC fan and placed it on top of the server to try to force some fresh air over the surface. The COOLERGUYS 3A 100-240V AC TO 12V DC THREE (3) FAN POWER SUPPLY gets the job done, much more elegantly then my other work around. However, I would not use it in a commercial solution, or in areas easily accessible where it might get jostled. RECOMMENDATION: I recommend the COOLERGUYS 3A 100-240V AC TO 12V DC THREE (3) FAN POWER SUPPLY for DIY rigging of external fans.

This was my second one and its now burned out. They don't even make it a yr for me. Very disappointing

This is a good, no-frills power supply for running up to three fans at their full 12 volts. The wiring is nice and long (4' to the AC socket, almost 5' to the output plug), allowing for flexible placement. UL Listing is a big plus, providing the confidence to run this power supply 24/7 without worry. The pin inside the fan cable's barrel connector arrived bent to one side, but the two sides mated okay with a little wiggling and pressure. The bending seems to result from having six fan wires crammed into the connector housing, which makes me wonder if this could have been done in a cleaner way. Overall, nothing fancy here, just a perfectly functional 12V power supply that comes with a 6" 3-way fan cable. Recommended.
