Sharp but could be more erganomic
The knife cones very stiff and it's very hard to open for an assisted opening knife

Very durable!
Locking feature is nice, tho will take some getting used to. Occasionally gets locked or unlocked in the pocket while retrieving keys, etc. but is a good feature to have with a blade that stays this sharp! It's also so light I did a double take to see if it actually had an aluminum handle, and it really is. It's a quality built knife!

Heavy Knife That Is Tough To Open
After not buying a new EDC knife since my 3oz Aluminum Handle Thumb Stud Buck 175 almost 20 years ago, I was looking for something lighter and with a better grip. Technology has changed so much that I ended up thoroughly researching every aspect before ordering 21 models mostly from here, and kept 6 for myself and 3 for my son. The knives that I kept and recommend are all listed at the bottom of this review.I did not keep this knife as I found the knife to be heavy @ 3.5oz and the thumb studs tough to open the blade, plus that opening to be much harder and slower than the flipper knives I tested. I discovered that the sweet spot for my ML hand size is something that has an ~4 1/2" handle and this was 4.375", so a pretty good fit and the handle was easy to grip with the lockback engaging solidly. While I think the knife is very attractive, there are others out there at a much better price. My recommendation for a knife in this size & weight is the: Beautiful Sandalwood Civivi Riffle with the 3.5-Inch Drop Point Damascus Blade @ $89 or the Buck Knives 840 Sprint Flipper 420 HC Steel @ $54.99. And if on a budget Ganzo Firebird FH51, which has a great scales and a very rugged D2 clip point blade and sells for only $27.50.I found researching on here difficult and time consuming initially, as many advertisers didn't show the necessary facts at the top and I had to scroll through many pages to find out key info like weight, which was in many cases listed in metrics that I had to convert. I recommend researching on BladeHQ, which wonderfully lists all the specs and necessary info in one concise location at the top of the listing, they buy from wherever suits you best.If you want to remove the pocket clips as I did since I prefer a true pocket knife, or to take a knife apart; you'll need a torx precision bit and driver set and I highly recommend the: CRAFTSMAN Precision 18-Piece Bi-material Handle Set Multi-bit Screwdriver Set sold at Lowes for $7.98.Lastly, If you appreciate the time and effort that I put into this exercise, then please click on the Helpful button located below. A economical EDC
I had a Sideswipe mini and used it daily but it was a little small. This full size is a great fit. Rugged and dependable a good value. The grip is good with wet or dry hands and holds a descent edge.

Cool knife, buuuuut…
Really nice looking knife. Good assist opening.Excellent for EDC.Good use for light duty. I used the knife at the pumpkin patch on a pumpkin vine and heard a snap. After that, knife would not fully close without holding the release lever just right, and then locking the safety switch to hold the blade fully closed. Disappointed overall.

Great sog!
Had to break in the assisted open. I love the coloration of the knife and blade. Very sharp edge and the larger version of this which I own it a perfect size for edc and not to wimpy or small to be a awesome knife (although I'm sure the small size rocks too) deffinently recommend!
