Television's sexiest cat and mouse game blends the wages of sin with the art of seduction for utterly intoxicating entertainment. From Shondaland, the producers behind SCANDAL and HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, comes THE CATCH: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON. Meet Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos): Strong, smart and tough-as-nails. She specializes in foiling world-class criminals with her elite team at Anderson/Vaughan Investigations, so she's devastated after losing her heart -- and her life savings - to dashing, international conman Benjamin Jones (Peter Krause) -- a.k.a. "Christopher." Desperate to extract some serious payback, Ali embarks on a secret quest to nab her ex-fiance, but the spark that ignited between them refuses to die. Soon, both Alice and Ben find themselves caught between trying to keep one step ahead of his murderous associates and her crime-fighting colleagues... and trying in vain to keep their hands off each other! Relive the danger and fun of this high-stakes romance with all 10 episodes -- plus intriguing bonus features -- that draw you into the passionate, deliciously twisted clutches of THE CATCH. Review: The Catch is good and has a light tone. Watch it - First off the show is good and you should watch it. It's balanced enough so that it will both appeal to Shonda Rhimes fans and those who aren't. The first episode is good and will get you to want to see the next episode. There is one scene where you'll scream at the TV that's so dumb but it's not too much to put you off. Alice is smart and kickass so you'll want to see how she'll ultimately take down her man. The other characters are very meh but this is the pilot so we don't know much about them yet. the final scene in the pilot makes you believe that Alice is ready to play and it's very exciting. The show has a lighter tone that the rest of the TGIT line up which has been very dark lately (including Grey's). The shonda name to the show gives people the expectation of twist after the twist but remember this is the pilot. There is no big twists or deaths because again this is only the first episode. It's interesting and obviously there will be twists in later episodes. It is a good show and better than the alternative shows given at the 10pm time slot on other channels. Plus it's time for a lighter show so that you don't fall into a depression watching the rest of the TGIT line up. P.S I do love the rest of the TGIT line up so no offense to those shows. Review: The Catch review - Great show, but only downside is it ran for 2 seasons. So there’s been no season 2 release at all from abc/disney although you can stream it on Hulu/Disney plus. Mirelle Enos also stars in the FX series the killing. That’s watch worthy series as well.

Loved this series
I don’t know why the series was taken off the air. It only went for two seasons and I loved it but I don’t like having to pay for each episode for each season! Why can’t I just buy the entire season like other shows?

Fast Pace, Great Soundtrack, Interesting Settings, Beautiful People
I'm in three episodes so far. Fast-paced, sexy, with a surprisingly good soundtrack. Awesome split-screen editing like classic espionage/action/thriller movies. Peter Krause is super intense and pulls off a conflicted con man with a conscience, at least you would hope. Mirielle Enos is an interesting mix of steel and velvet and looks way more glamorous in this role than before in the Killing. Valerie is super sexy, and a great best friend/business partner. Danny Yoon’s character is really good in support, as are all of them. Polished actors who keep it light and fun but also intense and maybe a little sinister? Margot is my favorite character of all, I’ll let you discover her for yourself. Didn’t think I’d like it this much since I’m a guy and this show features lots of strong women, who are to put it nicely, “working on their relationships,” but it’s catnip to my wife so that’s all good! Also love the settings, lots of high-end hotels and restaurants and lofts with killer views and slick cars like the new Audi RS7 that you rarely or never get to see on the road.

LOVE this show!
This show is so much fun! I love the cat and mouse chase in every episode. Each week I look forward to a very smartly written show, a new plot twist and our "heroes" winning in the end...sometimes. I really hope it's renewed for a second season.

A good series that never got much traction
The Catch was a procedural crime drama series starring Mireille Enos (from The Killing) and Peter Krause (from Sports Night, Six Feet Under, and Parenthood). Enos stars as Alice Vaughan, a high-end private investigator in Los Angeles. Krause plays Ben Jones, her fiance who mysteriously disappears yet leaves Alice with a stolen painting. From there, the show becomes a mix of a case-of-the-week procedural that follows Alice's private investigation cases, with a serial arc in which Alice is determined to track down Ben. The serial arc is basically a cat-and-mouse game between Alice and Ben and has a lot of twists and turns. The rest of the cast includes Sonya Walger, Jacky Ido, and Rose Rollins. For those who get the DVD set, the ten episodes are divided between two discs. The set is very bare-bones in terms of extras. It has some deleted scenes and a gag reel, but that is it. Also, anyone looking to get this should know that the show did get a second season that did not get a DVD release, so if you get the DVD you will not be able to complete the series on DVD. Overall, the first season is good. It has a nice blend of drama and humor. It is not quite what I would call a "dramedy" as it is definitely more of a drama than it is a comedy. But, it does have some humorous moments. It is also interesting to see Enos glammed up for her role as a sexy private investigator. It is in stark contrast to her role in The Killing in which she was very much a regular person and was rarely ever made up. The season ends on a pretty big cliffhanger, so thankfully the show did get a second season to pay that off. But, the show was canceled after the second season and the show was never really properly wrapped up. So, I would say that the show is worth watching if you like the genre, but it is not worth getting too heavily invested in.

A bunch of completely incompetent fashion models, spouting endless drivel, pretend to be detectives whilst making sure they avoid doing anything that might put their hair out of place or chip a nail.
