I have very reactive skin, so if a product has anything that sensitizes my skin it will work at first and then after a few uses it will start to make me break out. Sunblock has always been a problem for me - but not this one. I started using it when I got to Thailand which is very close to the equator so the sun is strong as well as hot. It never sensitized my skin, it went on smoothly and evenly without clogging my pores and it really kept the sun at bay — no burning(my tendency) or redness. This company’s products are certified by EWG which is another plus for the product. If you are looking for a great sunscreen for your face and neck, look no further than Biossance.

I’m shocked by the negative reviews on here, particularly the one’s who say they caused a skin reaction, because this is the ONLY face sunscreen I’ve ever liked (and I also have HIGHLY sensitive skin and get nervous to try new products)! I literally look forward to putting it on every day! It’s so lightweight, moisturizing (my skin typically dries out so bad from other sunscreen) and not too matte but not too shiny either. It’s helped clear up most of my acne (AMAZING because I’ve tried ALL the acne things!) and the normal face redness I’ve had for years. I’m continuously complimented on my skin now which has always previously been my biggest insecurity. I’m obsessed! So take other reviews with a grain of salt. Patch test if you’re worried about reacting, but I think it’s worth a shot for everyone to feel more confident and protected!

This was great for what my face needed! It doesn’t leave the face white and it stays on all day! I had a random breakout on my face for months and I used this to repair. Worked great!

I bought this product because of how clean the ingredients of it are. No titanium dioxide I'm overall really pleased it It does feel a tad greasy especially if you are sweating in the sun you can come off quite dewy looking. It comes out white and goes on clear. You do have to reapply it but the size of the bottle is perfect for purses and it's easy to take on the go. This product brings me much comfort in the way of clean ingredients and sun protection.

After apply to face and neck, I got terrible redness, itchy, swollen. It did last for a week so I had to see my doctor.

I am 24 years old with dry, sensitive skin, used this for a year now to combat premature wrinkles and sun damage. Perfect sunscreen. No white cast, moisturizing, lightweight, great under makeup, not much of a scent. I just find when I rub my eyes at any point of the day, they start to burn because sunscreen residue gets in them.

I really like this sunscreen. I love the clean, mineral based ingredients. I like that it doesn't leave a white cast, isn't greasy under makeup. It wears really well! My new go-to face sunscreen.

I am extremely fair skinned and typically use a sunscreen from my dermatologist. That sunscreen is a bit on the pricey side, so I wanted to try something different to save some money. This product came very highly recommended by a younger friend of mine.What I liked about Biossance Squalance + Zinc Sheer Mineral sunscreen: the packaging is lovely and looks like I purchased it from a spa; the scent is pleasant, and thank goodness, it did not cause me to break out!What I did not like about the product: it did not feel as light weight as other products that I have used under my makeup and I "got sun" a few times just driving home in traffic through my closed window.I'm sure this is a great product someone in their 20s or 30s, but for someone over 40, I cannot recommend this product.
