Easy, quiet, strong.
The media could not be loaded. Set up was easy. Realize there are no handheld instructions, but you don’t need them.Because it’s 115 V the one I purchased not high voltage 220, it doesn’t matter where you put your white or black wire from your power cable group.Just followed the sticker and twist one group together and attach the black wire and wire nut, twist the second group attached the white wire and wire nut, ground. The ground wire on the electrical motor housing as instructed by the sticker.Super simple. fired up and ran it for three minutes or four minutes before I actually put it under load and it worked fine. You need a high amp outlet. A 15 amp circuit will not work. You need to hook it to a 20 amp just like it says and you’ll be just fine.Small belt wheel I measure based on the pump. Just go to Google or your favorite search engine and type in something like pulley formula compressor… Something like that, and you’ll know what size small pulley to get.I did purchase the warranty however so realize that’s another $35-$45 on top but I think it will be worth it in the end piece of mind you know.I purchased a compressor pump as well if you want to go over there and take a look at that review that does take a little bit of work. For those that are not in the industry such as myself and realizing that no one understands it either at either Home Depot or Ace from my experience locally I just had to go online and figure it out.I’ll post pictures so you get an idea of what you need.Cheers.

Happy Camper!
I purchased this motor to replace the 1.5 HP motor on my Ridgid TS3650 which I acquired 18 years ago. I’ve always felt that the original motor was a bit under-powered. This seems to be the perfect solution and was delivered in 3 days. ‘Made in China’ made me a little leery, so I purchased a 4 year extended warranty. Installation was straight forward and it plows through oak without even a whimper. All is well again.

Mounting
Fit makita twin tank with no drilling. Had to look online with seller to figure out proper wiring. Instructions with motor weren't good. I'm not that experienced with motor wiring but the on-line information got me through it. Seems to be strong, is quite. Time will tell on lifespan. Pulley fit shaft with a little clean up with file.

Great replacement for jointer motor
Purchased a jointer that had a 1 hp three phase motor. Had been running it on a VFD and while it worked fairly well it was time to upgrade the horsepower of the motor. Stepping up to this 2 hp motor was a huge improvement. It makes face jointing boards almost effortless and in my opinion safer. It keeps the cutter speed at the full RPM and doesn't bog down like the old 1 hp would do. Plenty of power and one of those should have done it a long time ago. Also used the magnetic starter from Big Horn 18823. Good combination for a power upgrade.

Installed in my Delta Unisaw
I used this in my right tilt Unisaw to replace a stock Delta 3 phase motor. I don't have 3 phase power in my house, and I figured by the time I bought a VFD to run the original motor, I would be most of the way to what this motor cost. I had to remove and reverse the mount on this motor for it to fit on the Grizzly motor mount for 56 frame motors. 4 screws, no big deal. I also had to buy a bore reducer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZPX8TD6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but it has worked perfectly. I also replaced my belts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EOVLKQ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). So far so good. I will change the review if it changes.

Didn't last
My husband used this motor 4 times and it quit. He had it hooked up to an electric grinder. It wasn't overloaded at all. Just couldn't handle the work. When it worked it worked fine.

Performs as advertised
I had to use love joy type coupler because the bolts were too short on motor to use adaptor housing.
