Herbs for Depression and Anxiety
I am a RN for 54 years now and am always interested in healthy ways to help silliness. I got this book to find ways to help my granddaughter combat depression and anxiety. I think this has very useful info for her. She is on several meds and is going to counseling. Her first big decision to help her self was to ask if she could come live with me to get away from her over controlling and verbally abusive father and step mother. I would help her in any way possible. She is doing well but continues to have occasional nightmares and anxiety attacks. I hope she will try some of the herbal teas to promote sleep any help lessen her anxiety. She knows she is safe with me and many miles from her father. She has a good supportive family with me and her two uncles. Her youngest brother has came to live with us also when he turned 18 and was able to leave home legally. Very good information to take control of life and not allow someone else control you. Thank You.

A quick yet informative book.
A quick yet informative book. It was written in clear and concise language. I've never made a tincture - but maybe one day. I think he should emphasize that some people really need to stay on their medication; however, he did stress that he is not a medical professional. But otherwise I like what he had to say . I read this on a kindle.

Fun read full of helpful tips
I have heard several times that there are natural ways to heal anxiousness. When I saw this book, I immediately got it but was not able to read it on the same date because I've been too busy at work. Thank goodness, I have the time now, and got the chance to go over it. Through this book I discovered the different medicinal herbs that I can use when my anxiety attacks.

Okay but left me wanting more
The book was just okay to me. I was expecting something more or new, not the same herbs that I'm familiar with. He had brief explanations for Kava kava, St. John's Wort, Valerian, Passionflower, Chamomile, Green tea, Lavender, Catnip, Fennel, Ashwagandha, Ginkgo Biloba, and Lemon Balm. For herbal newbies, he did describe detailed procedures to make teas and tinctures which was helpful. Again, if a person is new to the various herbs that could help with depression and anxiety, then this book is instructional and a good springboard to delve deeper. But, for me, if I had a do over, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Pretty good
Was a little technical in the beginning but interesting. A must read if considering trying herbs for depression and/or anxiety.

It is a poorly edited pamphlet
The author's careless editing leads me to question how carefully he researched his subject. While he provides a list of herbs, I would suggest verifying the information before using any of them.
