Works well. Tuning to station was easy and sound was clear. Best use with noise cancelling headphones.

I prefer listening to a range of FM stations when jogging. My two very old Sony devices stopped functioning and two replacements weren't good at all. So I was very surprised how good this portable radio is. It picks up stations that others didn't and with outstanding clarity. It is amazingly light weight and thus is easy to put in a pocket or to use with the clip-on that comes with it. The wired ear buds that also are provided are quite good but I use light weight headband headphones instead (the plug-in connection works fine for these purposes). Programming individual stations was complicated so I used the automatic scanning function which did the job in under a minute and I now just skip the few stations I don't want to listen to. In "Mode" function you can increase and decrease the volume and in "Mem" function you can move up or down the pre-programmed stations. I highly recommend this device, so much so that I just bought a second one as a backup if this one ever needs to be replaced, something I don't expect for a very long time.

EDIT: the low-efficiency earbud (such as the one in the package) needs to be used for better volume range. Try not to use high-efficiency iem over $100 on this and then you would be happy. The battery (rechargeable 1.5 AAA) easily last more than two weeks with heavy daily use (>1 hr/day). So I raised one star for that!! It is a nice niche product. Pros: * can use rechargeable AAA batteries * small size, nice button layout (once you figure out their use) * good FM reception CONS: * volume 1 is a bit too quiet and volume 2 is too loud. The step between volume setting is TOO BIG. The rest of volume setting is totally wasted. If the volume step size can be reduced to half, that would be much usable.

Excellent product! I took this to West Africa from the USA. It worked great, the reception was excellent and I didn't need to change the battery at all.

I wanted a handy radio I can listen to as I walk my dog. Having read some good reviews, I ordered this SWDSTP Mini Digital Pocket Radio with Headphones and Belt Clip. I studied the fold-out instruction manual and realized that to program my presets, I needed to write down ahead of time, which ones I wanted to hear. The procedure for doing the presets is very similar to my old boombox. Once I got the hang of it, I was satisfied with my selections. The volume loudness jumped considerably from number 1 to 2, as other reviewers pointed out. So, I figured out that I just needed to move the volume slider on the headphones cable to a more comfortable sound. I only use one earpiece because it’s easier for me. I just roll up the one for my other ear, use 2 small wire twists, and hang it from the mini clip. I attached the Velcro pieces so I could use the belt clip. However, I realized the cable was sticking up and decided to realign the clip the other way. Unfortunately, the sticky backing also wanted to come off, but I managed to press it back down without damaging it. I used this little radio several times, having tried to figure out how I wanted to wear it so that all the cables wouldn’t get in my way. When I walk, the swaying cables annoy me. I fixed it so I could just shove and pull them down inside my blue and white shirt (photo). I love the simple design of the earphones that fit easily in my ear canal, unlike my old set that is a different shape and not easy to stay in place. The digital sounds of the music are great since the stations all came in clearly each time I walked. To change from one preset to another requires you to press the Memory button and then quickly press the + button to show the numbered preset for your station. Then it will show the FM radio station’s number as it plays. The only drawback I can say about it that this radio runs on 2 AAA batteries, which make it a bit heavy to hang off a shirt. If you don’t mind a cable stretching down to your waist or hip pocket, you can fasten it there. Obviously, this radio would weigh lighter if it was rechargeable, but then it would also cost a whole lot more than the current price of $12.99.

Function’s perfectly—I used it at an auto race as a cheap last minute backup when I didn’t have my scanner and with my headphones could hear just fine—but I did not realize it doesn’t have AM channels! How does a radio not have AM/FM?!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this little FM radio works! It’s compact, lightweight, and perfect for walking or jogging. The reception is clear, and it picks up more stations than I expected. The LCD screen is easy to read, and the controls are simple to use. I also like the included headphones—they’re comfortable and the sound quality is decent for casual listening. For under $15, this is a great buy if you want a no-frills, portable radio that does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Excellent little fm receiver. Very small, good battery life. I use this little receiver every day.

Great little pocket radio. I use it all the time and I love it. Easy to use and the headphones work well. I like it so much I purchased this as gifts for others for Christmas stockings. Affordable, practical, clear and easy to use. Would be nice to get it in other colours but all in all ...I love it.
