Ordered these throwers and I have to say, the shipping was quick, received them packaged nicely, though the SOG box was broken, no biggie, it's a box, but I;'m a stickler for details, again, I'll let it slide.I didn't realize that these knives were meant to fend off Godzilla, yeah, they're much bigger than any other throwing knife I own. I'm not complaining, I mean, it's plausible that during the Zombie Apocalypse, that perhaps we may have to fend off a Zombie Godzilla, or Dr. Gori.I've seen some people complaining about the fact that they aren't made of the "advertised" steel, but I think that's just a whiner who is pissed that he paid too much, after-all, he admitted to buying them elsewhere, so why would he come to this sellers page to review? Sad, disingenuous people.regardless, even if these weren't made of that steel, they're large, like regular sized knives, and they're THICK, these would go into an intruder without any issues what-so-ever. I'm pretty damn certain that they'd penetrate Godzilla's scaly skin as well.I recommend these, good seller, good product, good defense, oh, and the sheath is very well crafted & I really dig the para cord wrapped handles.Cheers!

Yep - you gotta practice but once you get it then it is really fun.These blades will last for years when others break after a few throws (I've tired them)Very well made. I'd recommend sharpening them with a grinder as they come pretty dull

SOG blades are big hunks of steel with serious weight behind them. These are only sharp on the point, the edges are not sharp. The blade profiles are more like a tomahawk with their width and weight. Excellent balance and they throw really well. I was skeptical about the nylon cord wrapped around them but it doesn't seem to impact my throw.If you want to throw something heavy with a lot of impact and penetration, these are a good value for the money. Solid, sturdy enough to withstand the newbie mistakes, and with more heft than many blades being sold....I enjoy tossing these a lot.

SOG! I absolutely LOVE these knives. To be able to throw as hard as I can and not have to worry if the knife will hold up is huge. With some weight behind these knives, they stick great and really can cause.some damage. I liked them so much I bough another set. Awesome product, and for the money, well worth it.

Solid product. We bought several different companies throwing knifes and these are the most solid. One of the other similarly priced major brands we lost 2 tips throwing in cold weather. Not the SOGs, they still look new and throw very well. The only negative is the paracord is not going to last past the point where you become a consistent thrower, so you might as well just take it off and learn to throw without it.

I purchased these knives 1.5 months ago and I had to come back and write this review. I've tried other knives and these knives are my favorite. The length, weight, and balance of the are perfect. I like the amount of pressure applied once it sticks to my wooden target. I've thrown these knives at least 1,000 times and because of that, there was normal wear and tear in which I had to replace the paracord handle but that's not a knock on the quality of this product... like I said, it was normal wear and tear. Great knives and would buy again.

Excellent balance and sharpness. Good throwing knife. I like the corded handle (a matter of personal preference).Includes a solid, well constructed holster.Wife bought for the family. Turns out it’s a fun sport.
