Solves just like a standard size/shape 3x3, but way more satisfying!
In case this might seem daunting, FYI: it solves just like a standard size/shape 3x3, but way more satisfying!Product quality? I think it seems well-made and it looks really cool and metallic.Challenges:I strongly recommend that if you are new to the Rubik's cube (or other "speed cubes" if you are being picky) and are planning on learning, I suggest you learn on a standard first. As you begin to go through the motions to solve this, the irregular shapes are quite distracting and it is more complicated and delicate to hold, twist, turn, etc. This confusion causes me to take much longer to solve than the standard and the algorithms at the end become much more difficult to complete. I even occasionally mess it up accidentally and have to backtrack and redo some layers or areas. Also, there is a "grain" on the labels that requires some extra thought when solving if you want the center pieces to go "with the grain" at the end. None of these things are deal-breakers for me, rather, they add to the challenge, but don't make it that much more difficult overall and are totally worth it.Pros:It seems to satisfy a different level of my brain. The standard involves color-recognition while completely ignoring the shapes of the pieces. This one, however, is all about the shapes. It also looks amazing when it is "messed up" and you can sort of create your own art piece with it. It's very reflective and eye-catching. It's very cool if you set it up in the "checkerboard" design like you would with the standard colored cube too.I love this thing, it's pretty low-priced and cheaper than the standard at Walmart even; I highly recommend it.

Fun but hard to turn.
Puzzle is fun to solve and unique. Yet it is very hard to align and turn the sides into the correct place so they can be turned again.

Ultimate fidget!
This was so cool looking, WHEN IT FIRST CAME! Then, of course!, I just had to go and start turning ALL the cubes because it's just that much fun!, and now it's a jumbled mess! I can't seem to put it down now though!!! I NEED TO GET IT BACK TO "SQUARE" ONE!!

Challenging
This cube is challenging but I enjoyed the level of difficulty. It can be hard to maneuver during rotations but overall I am pleased with the product.

Great Present
I got as a present for a birthday of a 12 year old boys. I got a call from his mother that he completely love it, keep playing with it non stop

Doesn’t turn easily
The layers tend not to align easily. There’s no center detent that helps align the layers. You need to carefully align the layers to rotate a layer. As soon as that layer is turned, the layers are again out of alignment so the cube tends to bind, needing another careful adjustment. It’s a slow painful process to make multiple moves. Where as most cubes can be rotated with a layer slightly shifted, this cube cannot. The instructions caution that if layers aren’t exactly aligned, movement may break the cube.

Interesting fidget
Quirky little fidget to mess with. Not quite as reflective as picture shows, and moves easily. If you're looking for an oddly unique fidget this is it.
