This book was not what I expected. Only a handful of pictures but a lot of detail and science behind the recipes. All of which is great to know but I don’t need to know, I just wanted the recipes. But a great book

It's a great book with easy-to-follow directions. All the directions are clear. It is so nice to come home from work, remove a clump of dough from the refrigerator, and have a nice fresh loaf of homemade bread with dinner when dinner is ready! A big thank you to the authors!

I've been making the 'master loaf' out of this book for probably around 3 years straight now. It is very quick to make and lasts for 1-2 weeks in the fridge if I don't use it as fast. I have tried some of the other loafs but my wife and I really like the master loaf for our daily sandwiches. I put it in a bread pan to get it a little taller for sandwiches. With this method of breadmaking I think you sacrifice some of the rising of the dough but the convenience makes it worth it. I recommend this to anyone who wants more affordable bread with less processed ingredients, whether or not you make it organic. I haven't calculated it out in great detail but it probably costs me around $2-$2.50 per 2 lb loaf of organic bread which is MUCH less than the cost of buying a similar loaf at the store. Not to mention it's freshly baked and tastes fantastic!

I have the first book,but wanted more recipes for grain and wheat breads. This is another excellent book. It's so easy to make bread with this method that, even though i'm working, I can make bread for my family sooooooo easily. My husband is beside himself!
