Beware! This ram fails an extensive memory test every single time, fails at the exact same place as well, this is not 100% compatible with your macbook, even pass-marks memtest says "Error, this ram is susceptible to high frequency row hammer bit flips". After running this ram for a couple of months I started having hangs and freezing so I assumed it was the hdd and tested the hdd and replaced the cable but to no avail, every month or two the same issues would come up even on fresh installs, I finally take the time to locate a memory test that works on mac and run each stick through the test individually and boom there is the problem, both ram sticks fail the row hammer test (Test #6 in passmark Memtest) I put one of the original 2gb sticks that came with my macbook back in and ran the test again, perfect pass and my issues are gone but I had to go back to the original 4gb of ram instead of using this ram that I purchased. This has been a frustrating enormous waste of my time and money, do yourself a favor and move on unless you want lingering issues every few months as a result of using this substandard product.

Good ram for what I needed and sped up the computer just enough to make it another couple of years without replacing.
