It does what it's supposed to do. The only slight problem is it has a rounded bottom, so if you measure something that's quite thin, lock, then turn round to get a pencil, the tape measure falls over and usually pulls the tape with it.Not the end of the world, but if you're measuring really long stuff and the tape keeps being dragged away from where you're measuring, it gets old really quickly

Some tape measures can be lethal when drawing back after measuring something large but this one retracts very smoothly. The lock mechanism isn’t always solid but generally works well. A great bargain.

Exactly what I expected. Value for money.

I have found this item easy to read and I must say I was a little confused by what one reviewer had said about it not standing up when measuring because I had no problems it has decent flat bottom side for it to rest on, in general very easy to use.

This is a well rounded tape measure, has a solid build feel and easy to read measurements. Doubt I will need to ever buy another measure again.
