As I'm ten years post menopause, I grew more and more tired of plucking chin hairs, and having to even shave my mustache! It was fine hair, with some dark, coarse hairs sprinkled in on my chin. I was mortified and very sensitive to it. I also had ingrown hairs on my chin, and I was just at the point of asking my doctor for a prescription medication for it, when I read that the prescription product was discontinued. In desperation, I turned to Amazon, quite frankly not expecting much. But whoa! I'm not only pleasantly surprised, I'm much happier than I would have been with the prescription product! This truly works, at a fraction of the price! I've only been using it for ten days, and I have MUCH less hair growing, and no ingrown hairs at all! For someone who didn't expect it to work, I am thrilled! I also love that the bottle is made out of biodegradable plastic! Pretty amazing! It also is great on my extremely sensitive skin. I haven't had a reaction of any sort. My only slightly negative comment is that the smell isn't the best. Some people have said that it smells like men's cologne, which it does, but I think men's cologne mixed with Nair. Still, I would gladly take a worse scent, if it meant getting rid of this hair that is so distressing! I encourage any woman who is having issues to try this; you won't be sorry!

PCOS girlies - this is the affordable solution for your facial hair. I've been struggling with coarse, dark hair for the last 10 years and have tried everything except laser hair removal. This is the first hair growth inhibitor that actually works, and IT WORKS WELL. I've been using it religiously for the last month. It took a week or two to notice the dark hairs going away, but after a few weeks, all I have left is peach fuzz. I use Nair once a week and let me tell you - I no longer have a sandpaper chin/neck and my skin doesn't have ugly ingrown hair bumps or other irritations. I'm honestly shocked at how the texture of my skin has improved. Believe me - I've spent so much money trying to get my facial hair under control, and this is the first product that actually does something. You will not regret this purchase - I will be buying this stuff again and again. NOT AN AD **I used twice daily, a thick layer at night. Combo w/ Nair Prep & Smooth Facial Hair Remover (Sensitive Formula) once a week for 4+ weeks before I saw a difference. Prior to purchase, I had found an article (that unfortunately for this review I'm having trouble locating again) that claimed this product showed 40% hair thinning in a 1-month trial. Even though that's not remotely what most depilatory creams (Nair, Veet, etc) have been _proven_ to do for decades, this one claimed a more natural list of ingredients, so I decided to check it out. Here are the instructions from the box: "For maximum results, apply a generous layer of Keramene twice per day to the desired areas. To accelerate results, shave or wax prior to applying Keramene. After achieving desired results, it is possible to switch to once a day. Continue treatment to maintain hair-free skin" So I applied the product 1-2 times a day while continuing with normal epilation (in my case sugaring and tweezing), as directed. Yes, the instructions say apply twice per day, but this wasn't always possible or realistic. Still, I applied 2 times a day at minimum 80% of the days. I applied the product only to one side of my body (in the "bikini zone") during this time for comparison. While it's possible that I am not noticing 5, maybe even up to 10% difference comparing the treated vs. untreated sides, even if this is the case (unlikely) it doesn't make this product worth using - especially for the price. I also noticed zero difference in the reduction of ingrown hairs from one side vs. the other. About the only thing I can say is true is that it moisturizes. However, I personally have zero faith in this particular product.

Used it for a month and it does not slow down hair growth. Feels like it helps hair grow instead. Pass on this item if you have pcos.

I have been using this product for exactly one year. I got it for pesky chin, neck and face hairs. I have noticed that they grow back slower but it happened gradually. I have made it part of my daily face routine. One bottle lasted me almost a full year. It doesn't take much, just a pea size in your palm. I just ordered a replacement in December so it is definitely worth the money. I haven't tried it on my legs or anything. It's not the magical solution to women's annoying facial hair but it doesn't suck either. It smells like a guy so that kinda stinks.

You must apply this product twice a day for it to inhibit hair growth. It is fairly expensive. It does not dry out your skin!

I've been using this product for about 4 months now. It definitely works for me! I apply it generously twice a day before my moisturizer. I also had a lot of coarse facial hair, some dark. I am fair complected and post menopausal. This is worth the money. As new hairs grow, I am plucking them since I read that helps the formula penetrate the pores.

Give it time!!! Read & follow the directions AS THEY'RE WRITTEN & it works! This is NOT an overnight product, but within 2 weeks, I was seeing results & within a month, it was SO obvious it was working! It does have a strong, perfumey scent, but it's nice smelling, didn't affect my sensitive skin & wears away quickly!
