Sonic Alert SB300SS Sonic Boom Loud Vibrating Alarm Clock with Large Display

I'm not one to write a reviews but this one is special. As a heavy sleeper who easily gets used to/sleeps through cell phone alarms, I bought this alarm clock out of desperation so I could wake up through the ridiculous studying hours of grad/med school. I have never looked back.PROS:1) This little shaking gizmo stays right underneath my pillow, and it WAKES THE DEAD. There is no way you can sleep through this. It is literally death proof.2) It's focal enough of a rumble that your partner doesn't immediately wake up (they will eventually though, sooooooo turn it off lol).3) On the one in a billion chance that the shaker doesn't get you up, the LOUDEST (customizable tone) ALARM BEEPING NOISE IN THE HISTORY OF ALARM CLOCKS will most certainly do the trick. Although this feature has been turned off for many years as it was wholly unnecessary.4) Big screen for the time, can see it from anywhere. Win.CONS:1) The battery slot doesn't work anymore. I guess that's what happens after over a decade of use. :: shrug :: so I have a backup external battery just in case the power goes out.2) Adjusting the time/alarm numbers gets bit sluggish. But you get used to it.That is it. My ode to the best alarm clock of all time. May this marvelous contraption shake my lil noggin awake for another eleven years. <3

Este despertador ha sido la gran solución al problema que tenía de levantarme temprano, y hoy en día ya ni si quiera lo ocupo a diario, ya me despierto antes que suene, no a diario, pero es un gran avance para mí.Es súper fácil de usar, y funciona excelente.

Was in need of a new alarm clock and tried this one. Met my expectations for sure! I can't hear anything at night and am happy with this alarm clock.Pros:It has a slim feel to it.The display size is definitely huge. My clock is the first thing I see when I enter my room now lol.The vibrator is big and works very well at waking me up when placed under mattress.Controls are easy to use.Has a test mode if you want to adjust the alarm volume/pitch or try out the vibrator.Cons:The stand could be improved on... it kind of makes the clock a little wobbly. Not really an issue but seems like you can accidently knock it over if you're half asleep trying to hit that snooze button.only has one alarm setting.Update: It's been 5 years and still using this wonderful alarm clock. No issues with it. Does a great job waking me up. :)

Bought this a while ago for my HOH son. Without his hearing aids he can hear very, very little. Unless you feel like yelling he won't hear you. Anyways this clock is loud and the vibrator works very well. It can be heard around the house and the vibration wakes up my son.

Tal vez no es muy bonito, pueden hacerlo mejor, pero wow! Este despertador te despierta si o si, suena super fuerte, precisamente lo que buscaba.
