Worked for updating Carby firmware
I got this mainly so I could update the firmware for my Carby (a GameCube A/V Adapter). After receiving this programmer though, I realized I needed some additional cables for this to work, so I ordered these:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GJJRH3MAfter that, I installed the Xilinx Platform Studio on my Windows 10 machine and was able to successfully flash the latest firmware. This was my first time doing something like this, and I didn't even know what JTAG was before, but everything was pretty straightforward once I had all the tools.

Dose the job
It is five times less expansive than Xilinx platform cable. It also has extra cables for your flexibility.

Works with KC705 Kintex 7 development board
I ripped the micro USB JTAG connector on my board and was able to use the 7 pin JTAG connector with this module. I am using Vivado 2019.1 and it works with it right out of the box.

It works for upgrading the Carby's firmware but there's a catch....
I bought this following a review of someone saying it worked for upgrading the firmware of the Carby but the catch is you would be really needing a system that's using Windows 7 or XP as it didn't work well with my Windows 10 laptop and just taking longer than 30 seconds and kept failing using Impact from the 14.7 ISE software. I got lucky to have found a older laptop that still had XP and after I loaded the software and setup the cable in Impact with the latest GCVideo firmware, it was programmed within 30 seconds successfully. and no errors. And in case if you wanted to know if this came with software, it doesn't but you find it easily with what I mentioned.

Works fine, seems as good as official Xilinx programmer
I use this to program XC95144XL CPLD chips. It works fine, no problems at all. I use it with ISE 14.7 running in a Linux VM on macOS, it is recognized by the software without issue.
