What does the a, b, c numbers mean? measurements in what?

The sizes in the picture are all in in millimeters. 25 mm equals about 1 inch so the size 75 is 3 inch, the size 100 is 4 inch and so on. The size 150 is the 6 inch vent. A=8.26in B=3.15in C=5.6in

Does it have a fly screen? Several reviewers said that it doesn't come with the screen.

There is a white plastic screen inside it. I don't remember how big the openings in the screen were as I used it inside and discarded the screen before I installed it.

Is it adjustable? Can air flow be completely shut off?

No, it isn't adjustable, and you can't shut off airflow. Why would you want to?

How does it “freely” come apart? It has to so the screen can be cleaned. It won’t budge pulling and twisting.

This slips on. Mine points downward at a 45 so I had to put a drop of silicone on it to keep in from sliding off.
