Spectacular Motor
Spectacular product. The motor is extremely strong on a on my kayak. I go about 5 miles an hour. It’s been a amazing product and so useful to my adventures. The customer support for this company is amazing well by again in the future for upgrade.

No problem with delivery but some issues with product.
The Trolling Motor is nice and works greats! Really moves my boat. I found that the foot switch is practically unusable. I don't know whose foot they used to as a reference when designing the foot peddle, but it must have been one huge foot! The foot peddle itself is very large and even the hight is difficult to deal with. Distance between the Left and Right turn buttons is huge and requires unrealistic foot movement to go between the two. The buttons are difficult to push as well making it almost impossible to steer the motor with any accuracy. When you are able to push the turn button, the degree of movement is excessive again, making it difficult to steer with the foot peddle. Also, the foot peddle either turns the motor on or off. (Push on, push off). Would be better to mimic a competitor's foot switch where you push on and release to turn off. The Wireless remote makes control easier but takes away the ability to steer and cast at the same time. All-in-all, I like the motor. The Footswitch needs a serious redesign to make it more user friendly. I would love to see these guys offer a footswitch replacement that is easier to use.

Light weight, small footprint, and big power!
Regular trolling motors weight too much and take up too much space on my little 12 foot boat (with all my fishing gear and 10 hp on the transom). The picture is a comparison between this brushless motor and the Newport Vessell 55lb thrust motor. The brushless motor has a small lower end that doesn't hit my outboard when they are both on the back of my boat. The brushless has a much great thrust to weight ratio. The brushless weighs 14.5 pounds compared to Newport Vessell's 23.2 pounds which makes a big difference when I ask my sweetie pie to bring me a beer and my trolling motor. The only negatives I see so far is the head unit on the brushless does not seem as durable as other trolling motors largely in part to the tilt handle which gives it a cheap feel. The other issue is the brushless takes power when even in the off position so when you attach a battery expect to get some sparks. Updated (5/15) Finally got it out on the water. Included a picture of the motor mounted on my 12 foot metal boat. On the lowest setting my boat goes 1 mph (which isn't great if you wanted to troll at .5 mph). The top end with my outboard in the water (drag) was 4 mph, probably get 5 mph if I tilt my outboard up. It does make a noticeable noise at the lowest setting. The performance is as good if not better than the motor I replaced. I did rotate the power head so I could use the motor on the front of my boat. You can see the inline breaker I installed so that I could easily turn off the motor without having to disconnect it from the battery.

Would buy again and again.
Let me say, I could write a book on how amazing their customer service is. Very responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, all around amazing. The motor is great! Pairs easily with remote, uses less power than initially thought, remote battery lasts 20+ hours on a charge. If i could give this more than 5 stars, I would.

Disappointed in customer service
Be aware, if you purchased a 50706066-V02 trolling motor back in June or so in 2024. If your remote malfunctions as mine did. Haswing has no way of replacing it. Allegedly the company that manufactured this remote/motor or other parts supplied for these items, has filed bankruptcy and therefor Haswing can not provide you a replacement remote. So unless you want to buy the $120 footpad, which defeats the purpose of having a remote. You will have a trolling motor completely useless. Haswing will also not offer to replace your trolling motor….but if you bother them enough they will offer you a 5% discount then a 15% discount as if this will remedy the problem. Heinz sight is 20/20, looking back now I would not have purchased this trolling motor from this company had I known I’d be dealing with this now.

Changed my life unloading
Love it. Works great on my power 100 kayak. I wish it was a lil slower but its not bad. Remote works GREAT! Unloading and loading is so easy. Just go get the truck and drive it to the trailer. Unloading is just back in and let it float away while parking and drive it back to pick u up at the dock. Worth every penny

I’ve used the 65lb twice in salt water. Still trying to measure battery consumption but so far it’s been reliable. 4 adults in a Kaboat it can push us along at 6km/h. I’ve also towed a Kayak and the motor has no problem with the extra drag. Fairly easy to mount and operate. Very lightweight

This thing blew away my expectations. Quiet but with tons of power. I was concerned that the brushless motor whine would be loud and obnoxious but it’s actually really quiet. It also sips power - full throttle pulls roughly 40A, and 50-60% throttle sits at 20-26 amps. I returned a Newport Vessels motor in favour of this and I’m so happy I did.

First of all, I was using this on a Kayak built to be powered by an electric motor (Pelican PWR100). I have used it 3 times! It is literally BRAND NEW! The first trip went well. Aside from the fact that it is very hard to keep the kayak straight. I need to have the controller constantly in my hand since as soon as I hit left or right, the motor can't fall into the "sweet spot". It is very hard to fish or do anything while moving since I have to hit left/right/left/right/etc constantly to go in a somewhat straight line. 2nd trip = Found out the motor was "buggy". Sometimes when I hit "left" on the controller even for half a second, the motor end up going "all left" as if the controller button was stick... This is VERY dangerous luckily I wasnt sailing in tight spots! 3rd trip = Motor would't turn at all! It starts/stop just fine but won't turn anymore! Figured I would steer with my paddle and could get away with it at least for now, but 2 minutes after running at low speed (2/10), the motor starts beeping and turns off... That was a long ride back with my backup paddle... Now good luck to me to contact the customer support... My season is most likely over... And I wouldn't trust a brand new one again. You can't go out on the water with untrustworthy equipement...
