Applied very easily and seems to be holding up well. I left the brown backing paper on the areas I didnt want to stick.

I wrapped it around a PA speaker horn in my van that plays through a hole in the floor to the outside. I'm really astonished how the sound is reduced inside, yet glaringly loud outside. THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS.

I used it in the dishwasher compartment to help reduce the notice level since my dishwasher is very loud. The noise level went down to about 50%, which is not bad at all. It was easy to install. Not sure why others complained about how once it sticks it is hard to peel off to adjust. Maybe cause after reading the comments I stapled most of it and only pealed the back paper around the edges which worked out very well. What I did not like about it is that it can get ripped easily, and also it is not 100% straight, which was not a big deal since you can stick one side and stretch it before you stick the rest to fill the gaps.

I will first say, the adhesive on this product rates 1000%, but with that being said, there is no room for error. You don't get a second chance to re-center it. It literally stuck more to my hand, as I peeled the backing off and when I tried to lay it on my shed roof (walnuts falling and making a horribly loud clanging sound), it stuck to a portion that I wasn't trying to lay it on. It kept sticking to itself even, so I just pulled it all off, or what I could. There are parts that I can't get off, so now my roof is brown and black. Have a second person and be ready to have only once shot at it. Other than THAT, I'm sure it would never come off. Positive note

Stuck pretty good however, it tore several times on mild curves where other brands wouldn’t(proper roller was used but when stretched even slightly it tore). The product wasn’t as thick as I would like nor did it possess good sound dampening properties. I installed on the doors, back wall of cab and ceiling under the headliner of my 1984 GMC S-15. Debating at this point to pull it all and apply a different brand because there is no real difference in sound dampening. Overall, I was unpleased with the performance but this product was the cheapest on the market.

Also ich habe es in meine Türen beim Vw t5 . Super Anpassung und klebkraft. Aber Achtung, für Hobby oder Straßenrand Bastler, HANDSCHUHE tragen, beim ziehen und drücken hat man schwarze und klebrige Hände ohne Handschuhe. Das Messer oder Schere ist danach auch versaut, Ich hatte ne Alte Schere genommen und dann in den Metallschrott geworfen.

Really cheap stuff... Don't buy this crap! Yes it does stick, if you take a bigger piece and want to trim the excess to make a nice job you are in trouble.... The foam part is lifting away and the sticky stuff stays there and is realy hard to clean away.... Then, you make yourself a "patron" of cardboard to make a "nice" piece... Then, when you take the backing off the piece it expand and.....Bla bla bla... You get less than you pay for.... If I could write 1/10th of a star I would....
