Quality Brand, Quality Part
We had to redo our sump pit and discovered the company who originally install the pit and basin cut corners. We had to dig it all out, jackhammer the rock they didn't deal with and replace column mold they used for a basin. It was a beastly job, but this pit, the cover and the flange (all from Amazon) have made the new system very good. The quality of the parts and the way they all fit together means this job won't have to be done again. Jackel is the brand to go with!

Not complete for installation... additional parts needed.
I'm bummed... I purchased the Jackel Sump Cover... Great Product... easy to install. Unfortunately, I have two 1.5 inch PVC outlets (one for the sump and one for a back-up). The original kit came with one. The install according to the installation manual requires a reducer plate, followed by an O-ring, then the discharge flange... all bolted to the cover with two screws. The picture at least indicated the flange, o-ring, and was pictured with screws. The item was delivered today (a day after I really needed it), but it has no screws or the reducer plate. The reducer plate is needed as it has a hole the same diameter as the flange so when the o-ring is placed between the reducer and flange it makes a seal... without that reducer... the 0-ring is not compressed and thus no seal. I'll have to figure something out. The bolts I can likely get from a local hardware store. The reducer plate could be an issue.

Yes, it fits 1.5 inch PVC
This part is labeled “1 1/2 inch” but the opening is actually 1.9 inch, exactly the outside diameter of 1.5 inch PVC. Also note, the description says it comes with bolts and washers. It does not. I used the hardware included with my Jackel sump basin lid, replacing the 2 inch flange.

Just what I needed
I could not find this in retail stores, but it was available on Amazon. I had to have this. It is of good quality and is only made by Jackel for Jackel basins. I'm happy.
