Best product we have found so far for our household. Easy to use and very quick cleaning and putting new water in. It’s very effective and the quality of the product does not feel cheap. Well, worth the money.

So much better than the first power vacuum I purchased. Took a minute to figure it out but once we did, it made the process quick and easy with minimal mess.

It works and makes cleaning a lot easier, especially the part where it comes to refilling the tank. However, the hose and funnel are too wide imo. It makes it suck everything up VERY slowly, compared to smaller ones you can get at the stores around here. I actually had to take off the funnel thing and just use the base of it to make it go faster cause the gunk just seemed to want to float around in the funnel for a long time and may not even get sucked up far enough to go in the hose and it may even float back out of the funnel. That's how slow it is. I don't know why the base of it has holes cause on other ones there aren't those holes, that's probably part of what's slowing it down. I would try to remove the part with holes to make my cleaning go faster but once you thread that base onto the hose you can't get it off without cutting the hose and I didn't want to do that. So I left it. I still use it cause it's better than using a regular one overall (eliminates the use of buckets and carrying them back and forth) but cleaning takes much longer. So this product could definitely be improved.

I’ve only used it once so far but it took an hour job down to only 10 mins. I can’t believe how well this works. It’s WAAAAY less stressful. I’ve been living in the stone ages carrying buckets back and fourth. WOW! I am blown away and extremely happy with it. I ordered a $70 water changer that was a complete waste meanwhile this actually does what it’s designed to do. I’m so grateful this exists.

Works as advertised. All parts included and it turned a 3 hour bucket carrying water change into 30 minutes without having to carry a single bucket or change connections

Doesn't have enough suction to lift dirt out. Maybe my water pressure in my garden hose wasn't enough. It's a good price and it's well made.

The siphon works great. Minus one star because the adapters are useless. The threads are too big for my faucet. The only adapter that fits is the outside spigot. Luckily I got the 50 footer and my connection is within that just barely. Went to Home Depot to try and find an adapter that fit and no luck there either. Maybe I just have an odd size and style. No issues with seller or shipping.

Fantastic product. Well made and robust so far. This product is ideal for larger aquariums. Cleaned a six foot long, very dirty turtle tank in very short space of time. Very easy to use, removes dirt really well. Can clean, empty and refill with this one item!! Saves time, labour and mess everywhere. I am very pleased. Turtle very happy. A real must have for aquarium cleaning.

Dank diesem Artikel habe ich unser 250l Aquarium im Bruchteil der Zeit und völlig mühelos reinigen können! Ich bin begeistert und kann es nur jedem empfehlen der die Schlepperei satt hat:) !! Wichtig zu beachten ist natürlich das der Wasserhahn in den das Wasser abläuft möglichst deutlich tiefer als der Boden des Aquariums sitzen sollte. Je tiefer dieser sitzt desto höher die Saugleistung!

You sometime see viral social media campaigns which ask people something to the effect of 'what simple product can you buy which is life changing?'. This is that product. Water changes have always been a hassle. You have to get the suction going with significant movement of the funnel. You think you've done enough, but you haven't and it's stopped and you have to start the process again. Once you get the suction going, you're gambling when to stop the suction to move to a different bucket before it overflows. You're carrying buckets to/from the aquarium and the sink in the other room because the buckets not large enough to do the entire change, meaning you have to make multiple trips. You have taps open filling the buckets in other rooms whilst you're emptying others into the tank. You take too long, the buckets overflow. You try to do it too quickly and water splashes out of the tank whilst you're filling it. All up it takes time. A lot of time. Usually with some curse words thrown in because something has gone wrong and you've got water somewhere you shouldn't. It was getting to the point where the pain in doing regular water changes was starting to exceed the benefit I got from having the aquarium in the first place. I was probably changing the water less frequently than I should have been because it was all such a hassle. Enter this product. 60 minute painful job turns into a 10 minute simple job. It takes so little time. You're not carrying kilograms of water between rooms. The water doesn't get splashed everywhere. It took me maybe 3-4 attempts of using it (including one with my partner monitoring the sink in the other room) before I got into the groove of the process. Once you've got the knack for it, it's glorious.
