The taste is the biggest downside, but that's just the result of having a clean product with no fillers. It tastes exacly like pea protein should taste: like a cold pea soup with no attempts made to season it. I personally close my nostrils and chug it down. It blends easily and doesn't clump. Only real complaint is that the seal could be better.

When I opened the package some powder got on my fingers, I licked it and was pleasantly surprised how sweet and vanilla the flavor was. Most protein powders taste bland and chalky dry but this had a great flavor. In a smoothie even better. Great macros compared to other powders and I’ve noticed zero bloat or stomach sensitivity.

I normally don’t write reviews, but the protein powder was the worst I ever tried. I tried my best to try to use it, but I physically cannot. It doesn’t mix well with water, in smoothies, or in oatmeal. It’s extremely gritty and chalky. I wish I could return it. I don’t recommend.

Protein powders are a dime a dozen it seems. Some taste great and some are just awful. This one is pretty good. I’m partial to whey protein sources, but wanted to venture out and have a vegan source of protein.The first bag I received tasted delicious. On par with some of the better whey protein mixes I’ve had. And it mixed really well.Concurrent bags though, I’ve noticed a slight difference in both taste and mixability. The taste has a subtle aftertaste I didn’t notice with the first bag, though not bad. And now the powder kind of settles after mixing. I have to re-shake every 10-15 seconds to re-suspend the mix. Not the end of the world but a little annoying.I like that the ingredients are pretty straightforward, no filler. And the number of servings is very fair for the price and quality. The mix comes in a bag instead of a tub that I prefer, but it’s barely an inconvenience.

The protein powder by itself is fine - lightly flavored. I'm glad they release their heavy metal testing reports.However, the packaging was very poor. It came in a paper bag with a Ziploc. The Ziploc refused to work. I tried for a while and had to transfer the powder to a different storage container. For the price point, I expected better.

Taste 5/5 texture 5/5!! They somehow managed to make this protein powder taste/feel creamy…similar to how I remember whey protein tasting. Can’t speak to this mixed with water in its own—frankly, whoever does that is way more committed to getting protein in than me. I’ve tried Orgain (okay) and Clean simple eats (good) but this is definitely the best. I made this in a berry smoothie (shout out Tighter together ‘24) and it was perfect!

After researching the best pea protein to purchase, I went with this brand, especially because of the reviews saying that it was flavorless. I also wanted it to be pure and reasonably priced. I was excited to try it out, only to note that it had a horrible taste, and was not in any way flavorless. I was very disappointed. This product costs almost $50 which is almost double what another pure pea protein goes for, so I think I will switch to that product next time. First, I must gag down 2 pounds of this stuff. It really is a shame, because I spent some time making sure that those who bought this product found it to be very bland. Perhaps I got a bad batch, but I don't want to spend $50 again if it tastes like this.

I have tried a gazillion vegan, gf protein powders and cannot say more nice things about this one. It tastes delicious....not too sweet and zero chalky after taste. I had the hardest time digesting even the best quality whey protein, so I was worried yet another protein powder would cause problems. I tried other brand of pea protein and pumpkin seed protein, and they were so so. Flavor got old quickly and the ingredients of other pea protein included a lot of filler ingredients I wanted to avoid. Right away with Promix, the bloating stopped. I felt satisfied but not stuffed. The amount of protein is perfect for me, and I feel stronger than ever. My 14-year-old has just discovered my stash and is now loving it too.I read lots of reviews before I purchased this protein powder and was almost about to try a different brand, but I loved the clean aspect of the ingredients and ignored the nay sayers. There will always be some. The price is very comparable to many other brands on the market, so evaluating based solely on taste and quality...I give it an A+. Try it. You will not regret your purchase!!!
