Works good. The Epson printers self-destruct after the warranty (as well as the 2 year extended warranty), so don't buy too much stock as they make the cartridges incompatible with the next model and you are stuck with $50-$100 of ink that you can't use on your next printer.I bought WorkForce 3640s from Costco when they were on sale for $90, and expect the need to replace them in 1-2 years. Since this ink price on Amazon is close to the refill price at Costco's, I don't gamble on the refills failing and voiding the original Epson warranty. (Or just gunking up the printer.)

Prints Look Great, and These Cartridges Truly Are High Capacity
I'm no expert, but I find that Epson DURABrite Ultra ink yields print quality at least as good as what you get from nicer Canon and HP inkjet printers. But the capacity of these cartridges is what really stands out. As of this writing, my Epson WorkForce WF-3640 has printed almost 1,400 color pages since I bought it in February, 2016. My guess is that the first 200 of those were printed with the 252-I black cartridge that came with the printer, and the other 1,200 or so were printed with the 252XL black cartridge that replaced the initial cartridge in May, 2016. I just replaced that black cartridge yesterday, which suggests that these 252XL black cartridges print more than twice as many pages as the regular black ink cartridges that my prior inkjet printers used. Impressive!

Good Quality
After having a few of the generic ink cartridges I had to buy a genuine black cartridge because even though so far all the color ones work the black was skipping & leaving lines. I was not sure if it was the ink or my printer but bought a genuine cartridge so I could be sure. As soon as it was put in & loaded my troubles started to disappear. I did have to do a realignment & a print head cleaning but all of those had been done with the generics too. Will continue to buy the genuine from now on! They may cost a bit more but low price doesn't help if you can't read what is printed! It was good to see that my office quality printer wasn't the problem!

Same price
Costco usually has a deal but that would be over a hundred dollars worth of ink and not at a time like this do I have that. They are around $30 bucks a piece, more or less. My Epson printer accepted it with a welcome. I have a Epson workforce 3640. I also know it takes the 252 ink's.

My guess is that the first 300 of those were printed with the 252-I yellow cartridge that came with the printer, and the other 600 or so were printed with the 252XL yellow cartridge that replaced the initial cartridge in June, 2016. According to the printer's ink monitor, the yellow cartridge is still more than 3/4 full. Impressive!

Time Saver
I could not find the ink at several stores I stopped in, 1 couldn't order the cartridge. Went on Amazon & ordered. Seems like a few stores are not featuring Epson printers.

Get this High Capacity Cartridge Instead of the Regular Capacity
This ink is awesome! The printing quality is spot on and the high capacity cartridge allows you to print more without spending much more. I am not a tech oriented person, but I was able to install the cartridge without any issue. It didn't leak on my hands like some other types of ink and it clicked in to the printer instantly. I've used the regular size cartridge in the past and it runs out very quickly. This one lasts a lot longer.

Works fine
Nothing to complain about other than the cost. But that is the business model of inkjet printers. They are cheap to buy up front.

Nice genuine product
Worked well,no issues of being rejected or not recognized by the printer.

The ink is fine, it does it work
The ink is fine, it does it work!. I’m giving 2 stars because this printer types are a joke, they are would say quite cheap but you end paying a lot because ink is pretty expensive and it doesn’t last much, plus the most annoying fact that you are not able to print black and white when one of the color cartridges are empty, so you are pretty much screwed and pushed to spend money to replace it in order to be able to print.

reported empty 45 minutes after installing!
I installed the black + 3 colors at the same time and cleaned the heads 4 - 5 times and then, colors were reported empty, not able to print anymore. I have been buying all kinds of ink cartridges over the last 5 years and always some kinds of problems. Seriously, don't buy any models with these type of ink, they stop working with more than 33% remaining (jobs are pending until you change the cartridge) and they non Epson are causing all kinds of issues.

Pricey but does a good job.
I like this larger size cartridge as it last a lot longer than the smaller one, but the the price is kinda crazy. The Epson printers software detects when you try to use an aftermarket ink that is more cost effective which makes me unhappy. The print quality is very nice though....but not worth the kind of money that is charged.

Exactly what I needed
If you need to buy Epson 252 ink, buy the XL. The yield is 1100 pages compared to the non-XL ink which has a yield of 300 pages. They are the best bang for your buck and you won't have to worry about changing the ink for a long time. My girlfriend is a teacher so she prints A LOT so this is exactly what we needed.
