I had previously won one of these on a quilt cruise. Honestly, I thought it was a stupid idea, thinking it would probably damage the fabric. Lucky for me, I needed to pick out several rows of stitching on a quilt, and had a deadline to meet. So, I gave it a try. It worked like a charm! Sadly, I lost my first one. This purchase was to replace the lost ripper. Do not hesitate to buy one! You will never pick out stitching again!Note: it does take a little practice to get the hang of using it.

I'm a quilter. This makes ripping out a seam effortless and doesn't cut the fabric. Other friends of mine also rave about it. Fits nicely in your hand. It's smaller than what I thought it would be.

Faulty. Trimmer stops when coming in contact with small thread bundles. Does not work for tiny birdsnest.

Compact design. Easy to use. Actually kind'a fun to use!Does not come with case or carrying bag. And the box breaks and tears easily.

I’m a quilter and I also make jelly roll rugs. If ever had to take a rug apart you want this. It’s durable you won’t have to pull all those little threads out just shave them off. Great value for money and a time saver.

This quick seam ripper was amazing. I had to remove the border around my quilt. Once I had a couple of stitches removed, the cutter just zipped around the border cutting the thread. I couldn’t believe how fast it worked.
