Solid price for solid headphones
TL;DR: Not the cheapest, but good quality mic and sound, great app for customisation, ANC works well except in extreme environments, and will last you a long time. I've wanted some good quality ANC earphones for a while now, but could never find some that didn't break the bank. After some research, I found these. I chose these from among other similarly-priced competitors because I had a previous iteration of them (the Life A1's) and they were fantastic. I'd like to note I got this pair on discount, and would still buy them even at full price. Everything works as written on the box and like other reviews have stated. The noise cancellation is good for just about every activity you could think of (though not perfect, it reduces the environmental sounds by an incredible amount), with you being able to change which type of noise cancellation you'd like via the app. The app itself is a great addition, which was a key selling point for me, as you can customise the earphones to just about any level you'd like, including what the tap gestures do. I've seen others complain that if you do a more intensive sport, the earphones may fall out. I haven't had this issue, though I can see how if they weren't properly fitted this could happen. I've also seen that cyclists (like myself) have complained about wind noise falling across the earphones, but I haven't encountered this (specifically on full ANC mode), and so fully recommend them for sport. The battery life is great, lasting for the advertised 5/6 hours, and even on a tiny charge in the box, they can continue to last for a significant time. I rarely need to charge the box itself, which I find can sometimes be tedious to remember to do, so I love this. The mic quality was also a big selling point for me, and though it isn't the greatest, it definitely works well, and your voice comes through clearly, if a little quiet. I've used them for this both inside and outside, and they do work to pick up your voice well in both environments. I don't recommend calling when moving at speed (or with wind-rush) as the mics are sensitive to wind. Overall, I definitely recommend these earphones. They're a good price for a good quality product, and will last you a long time.

Enjoying my earbuds (and excellent customer service from Anker)
EDIT 2: I've had these for nearly 2 years now (since Dec. 2022) and they are still working perfectly. The only thing I dislike about them is the impossibly slippery case design - I've dropped them a few times, including outdoors, the case opened on impact and the earbuds landed under a car (thankfully my own, so I could move it!). Luckily, there was no damage other than a couple of scratches on the case, but pleeeease could you, Anker, rethink your cases design to make them a bit less prone to getting dropped? From various reviews, I know others have similar issues. On a completely separate point - while these earbuds are not designed for sleeping, I've discovered that the 'indoor' noise cancelling option gets rid of 99% of my husband's snoring. They do fall out of my ears by the morning most of the time (I didn't expect them to stay in all night as they are not designed for that) but at least they let me fall asleep! EDIT 1: This is an edit to my original review a couple of months ago, when I ended up sending the earbud back for a refund, as the set I received wasn't charging and I gave it only one star as a results. Soon after my original review, I had a message from Anker's Customer Support, offering me a replacement set of earbuds; that was despite the fact that I had already received a refund. Esther (the Customer Support lady) said they wanted to offer me an opportunity to test-drive the earbuds and let them know what I thought. To make one thing clear - at no point there was any suggestion that I would be expected to change my review; I'm really enjoying my Life P3 earbuds and think it's only fair to share my experience. Here is my product review after a couple of months of using Life P3: 1. I like the sound quality; I was pleasantly surprised how much difference these earbuds make to my music listening experience. I realise that everyone's preferences are different, but my three favourite pre-sets are the piano, acoustic and the podcast; those three give me the most vibrant, rich sound. 2. The distance/connectivity range is very good - my phone can be somewhere downstairs in the house, I am upstairs and can still listen to the music using the earpods. 3. I like the fact that the app allows for personalisation of the controls; the pre-set controls didn't make much sense to me, so I changed them to what felt more natural; 4. Volume control was a bit temperamental initially; I set it to '2 seconds hold' to make it louder/quieter and sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, but now seems perfectly fine; maybe a software update fixed it, or maybe I've just learnt to use the earbuds properly (this it the first pair of wireless earbuds I've ever owned) 5. I keep forgetting that I have to un-pair the earbuds from one device to be able to pair them with another one, so had a moment of panic a few days ago, thinking that they stopped working! I don't know if it's possible to make the earbuds automatically forget the previous connection when attempting a new one; that sort of thing would be very useful. 6. I used the earbuds listening to the music indoors and outdoors; on a Teams call and also having a conversation over WhatsApp outdoors. They worked fine in all those situations. 7. The noise cancelling mode does let through a fair bit of traffic noise, in fact, I have not noticed much difference between the noise cancellation and the 'normal' mode; that is probably a blessing, making them safer to use when out and about. If anything, I think music sounds better in the normal mode; it's difficult to describe why, but I do prefer the normal mode. 8. I am not too keen on the 'transparency' mode as that simply seems to amplify the surrounding sounds, making them too loud for me. The difference between 'normal' and ''transparency' mode is significant. 9. Last but not least - the earbuds seem to last quite a long time without charging and they charge up quickly. The only thing I noticed is that sometimes the battery on one of them runs down quicker than on the other one (based on what the Soundcore app tells me), but I assume that could depend on how my controls are set up / which earbud I tap more often. 10. The earbuds came with four pairs of spare silicone eartips in different sizes, which was great, as the 'default' ones were a bit too big for me, so I swapped them for a smaller size. Overall, I am really happy with my Life P3 earbuds and the only reason I've taken away one star is that I have to try and remember which device I last used them with - my own laptop, my work laptop or one of my two phones - as they have to be manually disconnected from a previously paired device before connecting to another one. Maybe all Bluetooth devices work like that? I don't use Bluetooth for anything else, so don't know an answer to that. The service I received from Esther from Anker's Customer Support was first class - thank you! The original review: The ear buds look nice, were very straightforward to pair with my phone, but this is where the good things ended. The right earbud never produced any sound, it was dead out of the box. I installed the Anker Soundcore app on my phone and that showed that while the left earbud was fully charged, the right one didn't have any any battery power in it. Either the earbud is faulty of the charging case is not working properly... Anyway, I'm returning those for a refund and buying something else instead.

Great product, good service, poor Comms.
*** Review amended from 1star to 4 star to reflect updated experience *** I have used Anker products for years - chargers, cables, charge banks and headphones. Unfortunately, this is the first product which has developed a fault. The left ear bud stopped working after 3 months. Even more unfortunately, this has led to me dealing with Anker 'customer support' for the 1st time ever. After returning the ear buds under warranty as requested, my warranty claim went into a black hole. Emails are ignored. Tweets are ignored. You get a link to 'escalate your case' when you initially raise your warranty query - guess what, it doesn't work! Server error on the website. That was the downside. So strongly recommend Anker work on the Comms side of their customer service. On the upside, a replacement set of earbuds was shipped to me after around a week, under warranty with no issue. And so far, they are working fine. So I'm happy with how the warranty claim turned out - just not with the lack of communication during it. Getting a replacement set of buds with no quibble is a good outcome. When they work, they are a very good set of buds. They fit comfortably, the selection of tips should be enough to satisfy most. Sound quality is excellent for music. Good clarity through the ranges, and enough volume and bass to satisfy. The noise cancelling works quite well too. I've trialled them on a bunch of calls and asked the people on the other side if they could hear me OK - all could, and zero complaints. Between the fact one broke within 3 months, and the poor Comms when you raise a warranty claim, I couldn't possibly give these 5 stars. Here's hoping the 2nd set holds up.

Good stuff!!
I got these bad boys back in July 2023, it's February 2024 as I'm writing this review and I gotta say after 7 months of hard daily use these did not disappoint! 🔋They have an amazing battery life, never had a situation where one earbud would drain more quickly than the other or anything of that sorts. I use them daily, at least 10h a day. They charge incredibly fast too. 🔄Pairs quickly and automatically, doesn't disconnect for no reason. Never experienced any delays. 👆Touch features work well, they're more sensitive than not. You can customise the touch commands- 1 tap and 2 taps and hold for 2s for both earbuds gives you 6 customisable commands in total. Very handy thing is that in the app you can turn off the touch commands, as someone who sleeps in earbuds while listening to stuff I really appreciate that I can sleep on a side and not accidentally turn up the volume to the max. 😴 Speaking of sleeping, they're relatively comfortable while sleeping on the side. In general they are very comfy and even after many hours of having them in, your ears aren't sore. They fit the ear pretty well, there are different sizes of tips included too. ✨ The design is very stylish and somewhat luxurious, though magnet closing is a little impractical because upon dropping it opens immediately and earbuds jump out and scatter around. Clumsy people watch out. 🔊Sound quality is really impressive, bass is rich and they can be really loud. The sound quality is as good as in my previous Sennheiser earbuds. 🗣️Noise cancelling feature is my saving grace. Being autistic I get sensory overloaded and these really help me stay calm and focused. They also help me sleep at night, blocking the loud snores of my fiancé. I don't recommend using that feature outside though, really affects your spacial awareness. 🎤Microphone is the most disappointing feature of this product. Mic & Bluetooth don't go well together in general I think, I'm yet to find a pair that would have a nice crisp mic sound. Recording a video while having these earbuds paired results in glitched out sound unfortunately. 💗 Honorable mention for the "find device" feature!!! Can't tell you how many times it's been useful for me. You can make each earbud generate a loud, high pitched beeping sound to help you find them. A little downside is that you have to actually be connected to them to be able to use this feature so it works only within your range. Still, when I wake up with earbuds scattered around my bed it's easy to find them. Overall I think these are the best earbuds I've had so far and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. If anything changes I'll write an update. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. 🥔

Fantastic mid range earphones providing fantastic quality
I’m a big fan of Anker products and these Life P3 noise earbuds were fantastic, I found it to be an affordable mid range earphones which offer great performance. Comfort wise these were amazing out of the box they fit in my ear nicely with a nice comfortable fit, so I didn’t need to change the earbuds but it has a fantastic range of different sized earbuds if I needed it. I can easily wear these for a long time with no issues. Sound quality wise I found these product amazing quality with good deep bass and treble. I found these earphones to be quite bass and treble heavy but the clarity was still extremely good and it has a good range of loudness making it versatile for all sorts of genres and people. Microphone quality was also very impressive with it 6 microphones it offer nice crisp vocals that are great on calls and I found the recipient can hear me with no problem in both quiet and nosier settings. It's packed with features such as great battery life, these things last for many hours. Good Bluetooth range I can easily have these in my ear and leave my phone in the other room with no problem just as long as there isn’t many obstacle. I love how I can adjust the sounds in the app which support these earphones to get the sounds I want. Touch controls worked well and were responsive and can easily be change to what you want via the app. I did find the ANC to be one of the weaker aspects of these earphones. If you get a proper fit in they already cancel out most of the background noises anyways so I didn’t see myself using this feature as much, but its good to have when I need it. Overall I’ve been really impressed with these earphones. They come in at a great price and offer all the high performance and quality you’d expect. They also look amazing and it’s a great all round earphones. Hope you found my review useful.

First day debacles...
OK, it's my first day with those, and I have some issues with them... (also my first noise cancelling buds so nothing to compare against, bear that in mind) I got them mainly for work, and listening to music while I work, and here's where my problems start: - I use them with company laptop so can't download the app. - windows will pair no problem BUT: they get recognised as headphones (stereo with no mic support) AND headset (mono + mic) AT THE SAME TIME. And it seems that mono headset is overwriting stereo headphones, so to listen to music i need to disable the headset function (in device manager), but then i have no mic support so can't use them in calls... MAJOR inconvenience. @Anker - if there is something i'm doing wrong, please set me straight :) I managed to get it working right (stereo and mic) once on zoom by random clicking but it shouldn't be as hard as that =/ and I can't replicate that result since. Also some software/design flaws/shortcomings in touch controls for improvement: - have option to set different combinations for noise cancelling controls: for example i'd like to have NC->normal on my left ear and NC->transparency on right, but this setting cannot be separated. - perhaps add "long hold" touch - would be super useful for adjusting volume levels - keep holding to increase/decrease. - add touch controls for muting? perhaps hold both for 2 sec to mute/unmute mic. Product is advertised for business calls but the amount of fiddling required would make me miss half of the call... Can't comment yet on sound quality, for music on YT seems decent enough. Build quality feels nice, blue colour is pleasing, good choice of pad sizes and nifty case. No complaints here. Noise cancelling seems to be doing an OK job, can't really tell as nothing to compare to. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic. I'll see how it performs in an airplane soon. For now I can't give a rating. I know the price is very competitive, and I'm happy with other Anker products I have, but if some functionality isn't really there, don't put it in marketing i guess. If the headphones vs headset issues can be solved without need for the app to be installed I'll happily give this a solid 4 or maybe even 5 in the long term, considering the price, but at the moment I just don't feel I can use this product to full potential.

Best pods I have tried
These ear pods are great, the battery lasts ages unlike other products of similar price and they are really comfortable, they are nice and small too so I can hide them under my headset at work and listen to music without the boss knowing :)))
