This frame claims to hold double and even triple lps, but is that accurate? how deep is the frame? i've got a triple lp that's over 1/2 an inch thick.

It definitely appears that it will hold a double album. It easily is 1/2 inch. So I think a triple will fit. If you are a prime member you could return it if it doesn't fit. We love our frame.
