I generally float the mainstream with my knives, Columbia River, Kershaw, Spyderco, etc. I decided to branch out some after watching and reading some good reviews on this knife. It comes with a fairly sharp blade(cuts paper easily and can shave hair), but it does seem susceptible to dulling. This isn't a huge worry to me, as I don't mind sharpening my knife when needed and I deal with cutting cardboard more than most. The 3.1" blade is nicely sized without looking like a Bouie knife. The blade holds my largest grip with this knife though, and that is the cutout for the finger 'grip'. I've found that while slicing things it can get caught rather easily. A minor gripe but if they sold one without this, I'd definitely purchase. Feels very well made in the hand, with maybe the grip feeling a tad light. Overall very satisfied with the purchase, and if something were to happen to this one, I'd buy another in a heartbeat. The seller was very prompt(recv'd w/in 24 hrs of ordering) and packaged well.

Although I have roughly 20 pocket knives and 5-10 fixed blades, this newest purchase is a great value and has massive bank for the buck. Its not a designer powdered super steel, but very adequate for daily use. I'm surprised it is this nice of a knife for such a reasonable price. The lockup is very secure with no wiggle, blade is well centered in the handle scales. The flipper is extremely smooth to deploy and it has just the right amount of jimping on the flipper and blade base. The grip texture on the hand scales makes it easy to hold on to, but is not so aggressive that it destroys your jeans like 1 of my Benchmade knives did. Would definitely buy again, and I just might buy another one in a different color, just because I can! Thanks Honey Badger, keep up the good work.

I LOVE this knife. I love knives. I carry one every day and I work in an office. I grew up on a farm where you needed a knife every day several times a day. Based on that history I'm way more of a function over form guy. I like expensive knives because of what they generally bring to the table. I have many knives that are made with better steel. I have many knives that cost 4-5 times as much. The scales are a little cheap feeling, but the lightweightness it gives the knife is a great trade off. It's a deep pocket clip that completely hides the knife. It is so lightweight that doesn't even pull down on basketball shorts. It's not a dress knife but it still is my preferred choice when I am in dress pants because of how nicely it sits in the pocket. The biggest complement I can give this knife is that it has become my every day carry knife of choice. I bought one for my son and it became his main EDC over his PM2 and Reptillian. A coworker who is a knife buff so it and ordered both the medium and large for himself. I think this knife is the best value currently on the market.

Very attractive knife and it arrived super sharp. The grips seem like almost cheap plastic. We will see how long they last. The blade however is one of my favorites. Seems to hold the edge very well so far. The pocket clip is stiff but not to stiff.

I have owned and carried pocket knives since my Grandfather gave my my first as a kid. They are immensely useful for a lot of every day tasks. This knife is my new EDC (every day carry) favorite. The knife size and blade I ordered is long enough to do meaty tasks, but short enough to meet most state requirements for being a pocket knife. (I'm not a legal expert, obviously look at your local laws... but for where I'm at it is perfect.) I ordered the "Folding Flipper Drop Point Pocket Knife " the medium sized one. Sharpness (out of the box): On arrival the knife was plenty sharp for me. I do not keep my blades "razor" sharp as I'm a cluts, BUT I do keep them sharp enough to cut paper cleanly and this knife exceeded that. Opening Mechanics: I like the thumb action, I did not realize until I owned it, that the knife seems to resist being open and once you over come the resistance you have enough force to open the blade quickly and smoothly. Blade Lock: The locking mechanism seems to be quit secure. Although I'm not a huge fan of locking mechanisms that are in the path of the blade, it works nicely on this knife. It is easy to activate when intended and difficult to accidentally activate. Ergonomics: It fits nicely in my hand and (aside from the clip) does not have any weird pressure points on my hand while using. The clip is removable I think. While I do not use this knife for extended periods of time this is more comfortable than many of my other pocket knives. Over all for the price, I love this knife. It does the things I need out of a knife used for daily living.
