DHC Acne Spot Therapy

I am a long-time customer of DHC products and particularly like the DHC Acne Spot Therapy cream. I do not have acne, but for an occasional spot of trouble and to refine large pores this product is very effective. It contains sulfur so it does have a mild medicinal smell. But I am highly sensitive to odors and fragrances and to me this cream doesn't have an objectionable smell. Other reviewers have noted that they do find the smell to be too strong, so it's an issue to keep in mind.It takes very, very little per application and even though the tube is tiny mine lasted for years, literally. Again, I only use it once in awhile, but it doesn't go bad-- probably because of the sulfur. This cream calms down redness, draws out infection, and improves/shrinks spots amazingly fast. Often there's a noticeable difference overnight.Recently I woke up with what could have been bug bites, maybe spider bites-- three painful. bumpy red rash areas on my cheek and nose that mysteriously appeared overnight. I could not imagine what they were. These took longer to heal, but the spot therapy cream made more of a difference than other remedies I tried on these areas. I think it's a good product to keep on-hand.Also keep in mind that it is drying. This makes it better for occasional use rather than constant. It also makes it effective for balancing the t-zone area and refining large pores. Once in awhile I apply a very thin coat over my entire t-zone area, esp the nose, and it is good for tightening the pores; acts like an overnight "mask."Bottom line: recommend.

If you get under the skin blemishes this is the product to use. If you have serious acme you need to see a doctor. It is just that simple. If you have problem areas you should get this product for sure.

It works great for spot of acne breakout. And Medicare won't pay for any sulfur RX for an older adult. I have paid out-of-pocket cost as high as $96.00!

IF you have not tried this yet? Do SO! it will rid a zit in less than three days. I am 52 and rarely get a zit, but when I do this knocks it - oh and BOILs too if you are as unlucky as I am to get them occasionally. This stops the pain instantaneously and cures them very quickly.I turned my 20 year old niece on to this amazing Spot therapy - and she is telling all her friends at UNR!
