Blove's Smackalicious Sauce Seasoning Mix (Garlic)

When I saw that the second ingredient is sugar and then later down the list it says brown sugar, I just knew I wouldn't like it. Who likes sweet seafood?!?!? I didn't want to risk it so I split our boil in 2 and did one with Smackalicious Garlic and the other with my regular garlic sauce. I only used a cup of minced garlic even though it says to use 3 cups. I didn't have pickled ginger so I just sliced off a 1" piece of garlic root we had. I tasted it while warming and this sauce packed a punch! Almost like biting into an orange peel. Way to strong and not sweet at all. I added another cup of water and another stick of butter which did nothing to temper the strength. The citrus flavor already tasted a bit like ginger so I pulled out my chunk of ginger. Any stronger and it would have been toxic. We par boiled our ingredients (crawdads, crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn and mushrooms) in a spicy crab boil and then put it in a boil bag and finished it off in the oven. The finished boil was amazing! Once the sauce mixed with all the juices of the other boil ingredients, it tasted perfect. Smackalicious Garlic made my garlic sauce taste bland. Both were good but everyone said this one was their favorite if they had to choose one. The full bag og mix makes about a quart of sauce.

Delicious I want to try all the flavors

Tastes great, but don’t expect and Cajun boil flavor.

I was going to make this sauce with a boil for my inlaws but i ran short on time and we just picked up dinner. I attempted to make it the next day for myself but costco was out of king crab which has never happened to me before. Today i was not letting the universe stop me from diving in on this infamous sauce so i broke out the green lips and went for it. The whole thing was awful from beginning to end. When I opened the bag my wife and I instantly started coughing and sneezing. There was an overwhelming smell of what reminded me of Italian seasoning. Following the instructions exactly as written on the bag i ended up with paste so i had to add more liquid. Right away i could tell it was too sweet, too thick and lots of thyme which i hate the texture of. The taste was surprisingly blan. For it to have soooo Many seasonings in it i was shocked. It was also extremely sweet. It has a nice mild spice but not at all what i expected. A for effort and A for hustle but im sooo glad i only ate this with $15 worth of muscles. I would have been so angry wasting my crab with this sauce.

WOW this is sooooooo good! A-M-AZING! … I wasn’t expecting this to be that good! Omgsh! … I’ve been watching B Love for years! I Love Blove, her BloveslifeYouTube Channel and her Family! Bethany’s so Trendy and Prettyee and a Fashionista with the best Makeup, Fits and Hair looks! I watched Bloves Seafood Boil Sauce Recipe video a milliee times, but never bought all the ingredients to make it. I always knew about her launching her Seafood Boil Sauce, but still never got around to purchasing it, especially as it was always so Popular n always out of stock everytime I tried to purchase a pouch lmbooo 🤭 … Finally I’ve purchased B Loves Smackslicious Sauce Mix … It’s very full bodied and flavorful! There is a PUNCH PACKED Full of Flavor in every single bite! I originally thought this was an actual like Liquidy Saucey Sauce Mix, but it’s actual a Dried Seasoning Powder Mix! It mixes so well with all listed ingredients in the instructions on the back and it is alil more on the sweet side then I am usually used to for a Seafood Boil Bag but nothing that’d make me not purchase this again it is Amazing and worth every single bite … it’s not too spicy either but if you hate spice this is probably too spicy for you but if your like mee and order xxhot Seafood Boil Bags where u can’t even breathe haha this is probably not too spicy at all … I did use 4oz of Dr. Pepper Cream Soda instead of Coke lmbooo, but even at that it was still amazing! I also used Ginger Vinegar as I didn’t have regular Distilled Vinegar. I followed the instructions on the packaging to a T, but also added half a Lemons juice to mine and I used Smart Balance Butter instead of Real Butter. I also added Noodles to my Boil Bag aswell and the flavor is sooo Full Bodied every single bite was a literal Party in my Mouth it is THAT GOOD 🥳… This seasoning is amazing! I gave it 4 stars because my favorite “Seafood Boil Sauce” is still Original Cajun Seafood Boil Sauce from The Asian Cajun Crab Shack & Bar, Seafood Restaurant. Besides that this is definitely in my 2nd place spot! Can’t wait to try the mild next! Thank you so much for this Smackalicious Sauce Mix Blove!¡! I Will be coming back again and again for more and get my Friends & Family on some too! It is not called “SMACKALICIOUS” for no reason … BET … 🤩🦀🥔🫶💕😋

Loved it sauce came out very good

I was excited to try it and it wasn’t grand like I expected it to be but I’m glad I tried it just to clear it off of my bucket list. I had to Remove majority of the oregano before I cooked it because like plenty of the reviews, there were loads of it. BLove does mention that the sauce tastes better the next day and I agree. The first day the flavors hadn’t set or mixed well but the next few uses were way better and tasted like a different sauce. If you’re not a good cook I don’t recommend this product because you have to know how to tweak it to your liking. I added and passed on the things I’d like or wouldn’t like. The sauce is also really sweet so I didn’t add the soda but instead added extra vinegar and hot sauce for an added kick and tang also a bunch of other things. I am a crazy garlic lover but beware that for some odd reason this sauce enhances the garlic flavor so much regardless of how little you use. So if you’re like me and think you can never have too much garlic, it’s possible. I’ve finally found the product where too much garlic is possible. This sauce recipe isn’t perfected but I still want to try the spicy. It’s edible but nothing I could eat everyday with everything like she does. Looks more appetizing than it really is if I’m being honest. But again, still glad I got the chance to try it.
