Perfect replacement
Replaced my mechanical brakes which were rubbish and dangerous with these semi hydraulic brakes. Brilliant stopping even in rain, simple to swap out with old brakes. I have a Fiido M21 Pro

Works well when bedded in
Took a little bit of fiddling to get right. My brake was delivered with too much hydraulic oil in as the pistons were a little extended which made the clearance of the disc tricky. Once I bled them a little all was well with the clearance. I did find bedding in process took a little longer than normal. But after about 2 weeks of daily commuting they were fine. I'm running this along side a avid bb5 with SRAM BB5 pads (20 quid pads). The stopping power is about the same. Hydraulic brakes have a better modulation and feel.For reference I'm using Shimano road levers, 105 5700Shame they didn't have blue as a colour

Massive upgrade from normal mechanical brakes
The brakes that came on my ebike were absolutely shocking and the front calibre failed after a few hundred miles.Not wanting to have to spend a small fortune converting my entire brake system to hydraulics I came across these hybrid hydraulic calibres.Honestly the stopping power of these is far superior to the crap that was originally on the bike. Honestly probably not as good as a full hydraulic system but these brakes do a bloody good job

Low quality and cuts the cable
It cuts the steel cable i got it change. Again get cut in few days. Quality is also no so good.

Good value
Better than standard single piston type. Good value for your coin.Edit. Only lasted a few months the there was No brake pressure. As if the hydraulic fluid has leaked.Not as good as i first thought. Id not buy again.

these look nice bit the quality is rubbish they broke after few months of use and they become very still overtime

Good value replacement.
I’ve done well over a thousand miles with these brakes. Back in May I came off my bike and the rear brake hasn’t worked as well sinceI bought this as a straight replacement. Great value and so easy to fit. Bike now works like a dream.The brake is a great combination between mechanical and hydraulic.
