Q: I thought this came with a SATA cable? I just got my SSD and there was no cable.

It would be unusual that it came with a cable. Most of the SATA drives come without any extra hardware. Boxed disks may include mounting screws, but that's all. Moreover, 2.5" disks are mostly oriented to the laptop market, and there is no need for a cable to install it in a laptop (well... this may not be true for some laptops with two drive bays, but in this case each laptop has its unique type of cable, so you have to get it on your own...).

Q: How long is the warranty on the 1tb ssd?

if your not mean to your laptop it should last a long time. I believe its a 1 year limited warranty

Yes! Don't know why that other guy said no. Any 2.5" SATA drive will fit. It will be thinner than the original spinning drive. You may want to pad it with something. If you check the internet, some people are able to squeeze in two ssd's.

If you want great gaming performance, get two ssd's. Put Windows on one, and your games on the other. It makes a huge difference! You can get away with a 240gb drive for Windows (C drive). Just be sure to move your media folders (music, pictures, videos) to your larger secondary drive.
