Not really 100 dinosaurs
It is not really 100 dinosaurs. There are a lot of fillers and things that could be said with just one picture. For example there is one with a nest full of eggs, labeled it as nest and then there is another page with fossils eggs and they labeled it as eggs. Also plants, volcanoes, prints , lake and desert are words that you will find which are not dinosaur specific but more of a general thing. Again a lot of filler words. Then you have the images of some real 3D dinosaurs and then cartoonish ones. Some of them only the heads are displayed making it confusing since there is no context. Just the name of the dinosaur and the head. No body features. I understand in some aspects but showing only the head , doesn’t really help recognizing them when you see one full body.I still kept it. I have the collection of all these little board books but this one was a disappointment specially because my kid is not one the liking the dinosaurs (realistic ones) phase. I was hoping to have the book like a guide to teach him the names while looking at his dinosaurs figurines.

Read through on your own first lol
Love this book and so does my 2 yo. Just do a run through alone first! 🤣🤣 There’s some tough pronunciation, and I didn’t even realize how many dinosaurs there actually were.
