Great for developing readers
My daughter hates reading but these books do it for her! She keeps begging for the next one and enthusiastically tells the story line to whoever will listen!

Almost the same…almost
When I was in third back in ‘96, my teacher would read a chapter a day of the Bailey School Kids books. It was the favorite part of my day. Now that I’m teaching 3rd grade so many years later, I wanted to do the same. My students loved the book! They requested me to read each day. I loved the new look of the book. It’s sort of like a graphic novel. But since I read the books before I noticed that a lot was cut from the chapter book to make it a cute little graphic novel. So much dialogue and extra details are missing. Now I’m not sure if my students will like the classic books or if I should stick to the short graphix editions.

Great for beginning readers
My 6 year old reader loved this. He was able to read it all on his own! I read the originals when I was a child so I was so excited to see this.

Cute story. I used to read these books all the time as a kid. First time ever reading it as a graphic novel.
