*****5 STARS PLUS***** "EXCELLENT QUALITY"
I decided to purchase Wool Dryer Balls because I am trying to eliminate as many toxic chemical based products from my home as I possibly can. I figured getting rid of both the fabric softener & fabric softner dryer sheets for my family of 5 & replacing them with Wool Dryer Balls would be a much safer alternative especially, after reading a grim list of known toxins that can enter our bodies through the skin & inhalation, causing a wide range of health problems, particularly for young children, just from using these 2 products alone. (Scary!) I have been using these Wool Dryer Balls "rigorously" for several months now & I Love them! I let my 2-youngest sons take turns adding a few drops of their favorite essential oil scents to a couple of the Wool Dryer Balls, pop them in the dryer, not only does our laundry come out super soft & smelling wonderful but, our whole house smells great from the oils. I have had zero problems with static cling, or excess lint attaching to our Wool Dryer Balls (probably due to using essential oils.) The Wool Dryer Balls have kept their shape with zero problems of them shredding, or unraveling. I have used the black colored balls with my white colors and never had any problem with them fading onto my white clothes or towels. I like them so well that I purchased a second set. These Wool Dryer Balls come from New Zealand and from my personal experience they are top of the line quality wool. My only regret is not purchasing them sooner! I would gladly recommend these to anyone! They're a great way to eliminate harmful toxins from your home and most importantly your family! I will be a returning customer in the future!!

I was disappointed to find that if these dryer balls get too ...
I was disappointed to find that if these dryer balls get too wet, the black dye leeches out and stains clothes. A whole load of laundry is not stained with blackish gray spots. Very disappointed.I gave2 stars because the dryer balls do work. But they should warn people of the black dye in them. I thought maybe they had collected black wool from the sheeps for the color. Not the case at all.

Sheds quite a bit, but might be dryer related.
Got a bunch of lint from these balls on some of our shirts. It may have been because we were having a problem with our dryer vent not closing all the way due to build up in the dryer, and these could have been catching on that. I am not sure these work great with ALL types of materials though. Works great with towels. Bought some lavender oil and put a few drops on them prior to drying and the laundry came out smelling great. Will give it a few more goes with these, and update this post if there is any change.

jury is out.
I think items dry faster with these. I have a lot of white towels and linen, so I was concerned about these staining my whites. They did not. My laundry does seem softer, and it seems to have an additive effect for softening along w/washing w/ Nellie's laundry soda, vinegar, and borax. These collected lint and pilled a lot from the start, but is seems like that's a good thing because that results in less lint on my laundry. I do have static where I had none before.

These work very well
These work very well. They are not quite as tight/dense as the white balls that I purchased, but they seem to get the job done just as well. Possibly they might not last quite as long as the more tightly packed balls, but they are still excellent. Clothes dry faster and smoother. Haven't tried any essential oils yet, so that might be very nice also.

disappointed to discover that they were made in China
The dryer balls work as expected. I was, however, disappointed to discover that they were made in China. The product information says that they are made of organic wool from New Zealand but not that they are actually made in China. When they arrived there was no indication that they were made of organic, New Zealand wool. i would not order them again.

Really does help reduce drying times
I have a lot of allergies and can't use fabric softener. This work great with just a small bit of essential oils and they help your clothes dry quicker reducing drying times
