Great Bleeders!
These are great! They are the only way to go if you work on hydraulic breaks and you do not need a second person to press on the break pedal. I installed these on my two Harleys and it was easy to do. Word of caution ... when removing the old bleeders, use a 6 point box wrench to avoid rounding off the flats. Because sometimes they get pretty hard to unscrew. I'd use some penetrating oil on them too, if I was to do this again. Now the reason for 4 stars, There was a thick thread sealant on the bleeder threads that went to the end of the threads. Not good because on a Harley, the caliper body is aluminum and it would be really easy to cross thread the threads when installing the new bleeders. So I had to chase (clean) the first 3 bleeder threads to insure I did not cross thread them when screwing the bleeders in to the caliper body.

Excellent Speed Bleeder
This item 3/8” 24 thread fit perfectly in my 58 Cadillac. I had problems with air leaking by the threads on the original brake bleeder valves. Once the new speed bleeders were installed, it was truly a one person job. Just properly seat it then only turn open 1/4 turn, go press on the brake pedal slow and steady 5-6 times. Go back underneath and close the speed bleeder. Refilled master cylinder when each brake was bled. This product did everything as advertised. Thank you thank you thank you

Works like a charm.
Replaced the stock bleeders on my 2002 HD Road King. They were a pain to get the threads started because of all the thread sealant that comes on them. Fully seat them, and then turn them back out 180 degrees (I found this to be the "sweet spot"), they will allow brake fluid by under pressure, but not allow air or bad fluid back into the caliper on brake release. 100% recommend.

Why all the sealer?
These speed bleeders were hard to install because Russel gobbed on the encapsulated thread sealant on the threads. Really excessively!"Speed Bleeder" brand also uses encapsulated sealant on their threads, but they don't gob it on as Russel does. I've installed several "Speed Bleeder" speed bleeders and never had this issue.I had to chase the threads with a die to get enough of the sealant off to start threading these. I'll never buy Russel's again. Only the "Speed Bleeder" brand for me.
