I bought this for my 93 year old mother. She wanted something that wasn't tall, she's under 5 foot. It's very easy to assemble and light weight yet sturdy. The chair has good rubber feet so it doesn't slip or move around. It comes with a thin water proof mat so your not sitting on the hard plastic. She said it was comfortable the the added cush helped. The chair has built in handles so you can hold on while in the shower or easily lift it in or out of the tub. We have the chair at the lowest setting so her feet touch the ground but it can be raised for taller people. Did I mention my mom is 93? She lifts this chair in and out of the tub herself! We give this chair two thumbs up! 👍👍

It’s a little bit smaller than I thought it would be and it’s also not that sturdy. But as long as I’m careful, it works OK. I had knee replacement surgery and I needed to sit while I was showering so as long as I’m careful it works. Hopefully within the next week or so I will be able to stand and I won’t be using, the seat .It was fairly easy to assemble, and it is lightweight. Not that sturdy for a heavier person.

Due to stenosis in my back, I cannot stand in the shower any longer. This chair holds me and I feel secure in it when I am using the handheld shower. It holds the 300 pounds that it says it will.

I bought this as my husband and I are seniors and it helps to be seated for bathing. I had avoided buying a seat before because I did not want to scratch the surface of the shower with use. But this seat comes with rubber protection on all four legs. It is sturdy, the seat has a non-slip blue pad with adhesive, and there are holes for the water to drain out easily. For extra protection, there are cross braces and I found it met all my criteria for safety, ease of use, assembly and lightness of weight. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seat in the shower. All parts are aluminum or rubber, I read in other reviews before buying, that some people had used it for many years, and that it had not rusted. As I have just purchased it, I cannot verify it, but take that reviewer's information to be accurate.

This stool, because it is a stool (not a bench or a chair) is SMALL. Really small. It fits in the standard size bathtub and still has room. That’s probably good for many people but I was looking for something that was more of a chair or bench for my parents’ 60” shower. This stool, because it is definitely a stool, looks so tiny in their large shower. On the plus side, it’s very easy to assemble. It seems to be mostly sturdy. Neither of my parents have reported any issues.I have seen other reviews state that the blue seat mat did not come with their stool. My box did have a blue peel-and-stick seat mat made of 1/8 inch of some foam-like material. It contained perforated holes that you will punch out to match the holes in the stool.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. It took maybe 15 minutes to assemble without any tools. The sizefit perfectly and made it much easier for person sitting and a care giver to use for bathing.

Did not fit in custom shower.
