Very good product. Easy to hold, kept coffee hot for 18 hours, durable, leak proof. I love this thermo bottle and will recommend this product to all.

I need a bottle of hot or warm water for the night, just I need to drink some. And, I need it for morning medicines after I get up. This Thermo kept the water still Warm in the morning. The others I bought could not keep the water warm, they were Cold.

First of all, it's Thermos brand, and they know their business. It keeps my coffee piping hot, just as it should. It holds 2 regular mugs of coffee, which is the right size for me, and the shape is very nice, easy to hold. All-in-all, an excellent design. Oddly, the cap/cup does not appear to be insulated at all. It gets quite warm (or cold, I suppose) when used. In this size of cup, I don't think it's all that important. The cap/cup realistically holds a measured 3 ounces. You are not going to be sipping at it for any length of time. The cup size is very much like an espresso cup in size and shape. Which makes me want to fill this thing up with cappuccino next time... or just straight up black lightning espresso. Perfect for a long drive! And it will put hair on your chest! But, the BEST part is the stopper. Every bottle like this I've ever owned that had a button or a spout or some other fancy thing still left a few drops in the mechanism that dripped out when you laid it down after pouring. Not a "leak," just a few residual drops. Always a little bit of a hassle, but not all that important. This stopper design does not do that! Drip-free! Free at last! LOL Maybe that's a minor point, but I always appreciate good design. The Thermos people figured it out.

The thermos is rugged and it works well. I initially had problems with leakage, but that was my fault for overfilling it. Don't fill past where the neck narrows. I would purchase it again.

Recently, within the past couple of months, I have purchased two of these Thermoses from Amazon. I was attracted by the Thermos reputation for quality products, the pleasant appearance, stainless steel triple-walled construction, and the expectation of keeping hot coffee and teas drinkable at desirable temperatures for long periods. I have found that if I fill one of these with a hot beverage just barely cooled enough to drink comfortably and close both the inner stopper and the outer lid, the coffee or tea stays hot for long hours and is still warm enough to enjoy after as much as 13 or 14 hours. This includes drinking from the Thermos several times during that time. Mostly I use these excellent containers to keep by my bed overnight to drink a few swallows each time I wake up to go to the bathroom. I'm a man in my mid-80's and usually get up at least twice or three times, sometimes four if I've drunk a lot of beverage before bedtime. Because coffee acts as a diuretic in my body, I try to refrain from drinking any caffeine after 2:00 PM, but occasionally I drink a little as late as 2:30 or 3:00. I do not agree with those reviewers that these Thermoses fail to keep the beverages hot or warm for 12 hours, as the seller/manufacturer claims. To reiterate, I believe the secret is to keep the stopper and lid tightly closed and not allowing the container to stand opened for any length of time. My one complaint, if any, is that the top opening is so small. I do not understand why the instructions for use state do not drink from the uncovered opening -- I drink from all the of the containers I use directly from the uncovered opening, as I do not care to drink through openings in lids or covers. Because of the too-small opening, I have to mix my beverages in another container in order to add creamer for coffee or cool water for tea, and then pour the beverage into the Thermos; stir well, then pour into one of these Thermoses. This works best for me but should not be necessary if the uncovered opening were larger for normal drinking. My rating is 4-star instead of 5 because of the too-small opening.
