We remodeled our kitchen back in March 2018 and we used this Elkay Quartiz sink in white. We loved it! Looked great, easy to clean, and completed the entire look of our kitchen! Fast forward one year and my wife says to me, "Hey, did you notice this line in the sink?" I touch it and immediately realize it's a crack. I look underneath the sink, and the crack is through and through."How did this happen", you may say? That is a great question. Nothing heavy was dropped in the sink and my only conclusion is sudden change in temperature from hot stove water being poured down the drain. But honestly this should not happen, it's a sink, you pour hot water in the sink to go down the drain.I am very displeased with the headache this is going to cause. I have the Asurion protection plan on the sink (great buy at $12 for a $300 sink!) and it sounds like someone will come out to try and "repair" the sink; fingers crossed. Because if I have to remove the entire sink, which means probably removing the entire granite counter top because the sink is under mounted, this is going to be a giant nightmare.

We bought this sink for a kitchen remodel. It looks nice, although it is a little hard to clean if you get the white version. Seven months after installation, a small crack developed after straining pasta. I thought it was a scratch at first, and left it. Two days later, the crack widened to over a foot long. The promotional materials advertise that the sink is heat resistant to over 500 degrees, but boiling water is 212 degrees. Clearly Elkay's quality control is not good.I called Elkay, and they offered to replace it but refused to offer a refund. Not wanting to install a replacement that also might last a few months, I refused the offer. Now I have to buy a new sink, and have a countertop company cut a larger hole. The whole process will cost me well over $1000. Don't buy this unless you have a strong desire to waste money.

Love it! No hard water stains. Fees like a smooth rock. I’ve had it for about a month now and everything from enchilada sauce to hard cleaners have been in it and nothing’s stained it or scratched it.

Had my contractor install this sink in White. It's a nice size, but I've used it for two days and am already seeing small dark marks and scratches, literally no idea how they're appearing as I've barely even used it. Unfortunately this is an undermount sink, which means the countertop is cut for it specifically and there's essentially no way to remove it. It's got a look like stone, but feels like plastic. I'm pretty bummed I spent over $300 for something that is showing scratches within two days.

Let me start by saying that I’m only giving it 4 stars because I’ve only had it in my kitchen for a few months.If you asked me 5 years ago, I never would’ve imagined that I would be ordering a kitchen sink off the Internet, but I did, and I kinda, really like it. It’s a great size, which is ideal for me to fill with dishes and leave for a few days, until they start to smell a little or until I get the ambition to move them the 2 feet into the dishwasher. It’s big enough to where you could easily bathe 2 armadillos at the same time - a very large baby would easily fit as well.The color looks great. I have GE’s “slate” appliances and it’s extremely close to matching them. I wouldn’t say it’s a perfect match, but close enough to where most people would think that you also have a GE sink.In case anyone cares, it was just as easy to mount a garbage disposal to this sink as it is to any other, so, there’s that.The guys who mounted my sink didn’t complain that it was difficult or anything, so I assume it’s like most sinks and mounting was relatively painless.The only downside, I think, is that it “drains” kinda slow. Maybe all sinks like this are the same, but I feel like I have to spray all the food bits down, more than I did with my old sink. It’s like the slope (rise/run) isn’t enough. Then again, maybe it’s normal for a sink like this and maybe I’m just trying to find a flaw.I would definitely buy this sink again, if I happened to need a new kitchen sink at some point. Chances are, this sink will out live me.*please note that when you order a KITCHEN SINK on Amazon, someone from the USPS or the such will have to carry it. It’s heavy, so maybe just tell them “thank you for delivering this unnecessarily heavy item. I appreciate you.”

This is a beautiful sink and it was definitely the right choice for my kitchen. It's been 6 months and it's still looking brand new - no stains, scratches, or other marks. Very easy to clean, no matter what I throw at it. Doesn't resonate as much as my old stainless sink, and it's much wider and deeper. I would definitely recommend it.

Wow! Our countertop shop wanted $450 for this sink, so glad to find it on Amazon. Its sturdy, and gorgeous! We have not been able to damage it with any dishes or utencils (not that we're trying)This sink did end up being deeper than we planned out, so we lost the garbage disposal, but thats ok.

Looks: looked stunning and came in perfect condition out of the box. So far so good resisting staining, but I’ve been pretty meticulous keeping it real clean because it’s brand new. Having said that, I do think it’s susceptible to staining. I bought the matching sink grate that works great by protecting the bottom of the sink from scratches. You can compare this to a Blanco sink that is outrageous in its price compared to this. The Blanco sink is almost identical - just has a sticker that says Blanco.

El producto cuando lo recibimos se veía espectacular y nos encantó porque al estar montado le dio una apariencia elegante a nuestra cocina sin embarga llevamos un poco más de 6 meses y está perdiendo su brillo de hecho le están saliendo unas manchas blancas que resaltan por el color negro del material nos gustaría saber si hay algún producto que nos ayude a darle mantenimiento o que garantía hay sobre este producto... pues tratamos de cada vez que lo usamos secar toda la superficie pero no ha detenido este proceso de las manchas Agradecemos la atención esperando tener alguna respuesta favorable...

It looks AMAZING and heavy duty. It's deeper my old sink which I love. You can easily fit pots and pans with no problem. Worth the money.

The media could not be loaded.  Huge crack in the sink and haven’t even had it 7 months. For this price you would except better quality. I am not happy at all.
