Really useful for your child , help me a lot

This spoon is amazing! No more expensive pouches (well, until they are older) because babyfood Jars are SO easy to put in the spoon. It fits about 4 ounces, so we always make mixes. The spoon is exceptionally easy to clean, just disassemble, give it a rinse to get the chunks off, and toss it in the dishwasher. The spoon is a perfect size for infants. Our youngest is 10 months and it has worked great since we introduced solids at 4/5 months. We have a couple of these to make it through the day and for when we travel. The cap is good, but not great. If you have especially runny foods (beans or peas, for example), the juices might run out if you put it spoon down without double checking that the cap was secured. Our work-around: we store it spoon side up in the refrigerator.Love the boon brand, really love this item!

I originally thought I would only use this for traveling, but am so grateful I started using it full time. I have twins, and the time it took to go back and forth between them and the time it took to spoon from a bowl made a bigger difference that I imagined. The faster speed helped keep them from fussing in the beginning (outgrew that), and now helps keep the feeding going before I loose their attention span (which adds a lot of time to regain each bite). I also found that one of my boys lunged in the beginning for spoons, and would gag, but because his has a wide bulb right after the spoon dip, I didn’t have to worry about the choking with this spoon.Easy to clean, even when it sits a day. I fill with soapy water, cover the whole, shake, squirt some through the spoon, dump soap water, and rinse. occasionally I have quickly used a bottle brush. The insides of mine have texture, so don’t mistake that for dried up old food. feel it before you use it so you know what clean feels like.TIP: place base in a skinny short juice cup when you fill it up. I always have one less hand than I wish.IF YOU MAKE YOUR OWN HOMEMADE BABY FOOD: make sure you puree it thoroughly. my first few batches would get clogged, but now I rarely have that issue. I use a vitamix that I already had, so I don’t know how other blenders would do. Also I found I had a tendency to sputter UNTIL I realized how thin store bought baby foods were. Once I watered my homemade purées equally, I didn’t have that issue.been using for about 3-4 months, several times a day.

When the Boon Spoon first came in the mail I thought "It's huge!" and wasn't what I was expecting for travel. However - it is AWESOME for using in a restaurant or on the go. We loaded an entire gerber baby food container into it and it slowly squeezes out. I saw a review where the person said the food got all over the place - I don't know how hard she was squeezing but you gently press it and the food comes out. Our baby ate like a champ and this was really convenient. We recapped what she didn't finish for later. We particularly liked that we didn't have to worry about her grabbing at the food container, putting her hands in it or it tipping over constantly. We will be ordering another!UPDATE: If you use the pouch foods with a screw-off top (i.e. Plum Organics, Revolution Foods, HappyBaby, Ella) - also check out Plum Organics Boon Spoon, 2-Count Packages (Pack of 4) - much simpler clean-up, comes with two spoons and a case, and you can save what isn't eaten for 24-48 hours.

I like boon products but not a huge fan of this one. The idea is good but a few issues I had: (1) food inside must be fully puréed so this would work okay for yogurt or maybe packaged baby food. I made my own baby food which isn’t always super smooth, and it would get stuck in the small opening when I squeezed. This is also an issue because once my baby started eating, she enjoyed textured food. (2) for travel, there is a flimsy cover for the spoon piece. It’s so small so it’s easily lost, and worse, a major choking hazard. When i wanted to use this spoon on the go, i was in a small space so the cap was within my daughters reach, unless I held it. Again, i like boon products but this one wasn’t a winner for me.

Me and my wife struggled when it came to feeding our twins cause the would get so impatient when scooping the next bite. Not anymore. This simple spoon makes it so easy to keep up with both of them eating. Cant believe I waited so long to buy this spoon!

Best thing I've bought! Makes feeding pureed food so unbelievably clean and easy. Just have to make sure the food is well pureed otherwise it gets stuck at the nozzle. Easy to clean!
