Not same as picture of item. Plastic colored piece is not the same.
After looking for a replacement to the sub woofer wire and connector, I found this at Amazon. I had bought one that looked the same on another online store but it didn't fit. When it arrived, I took the only one I needed, out of the package and looked at the end. It wasn't the same as the original that came with the Sony blue ray home theater. My pup chewed the other and it wouldn't go back in the purple connection area and I wanted to use the system and could but without the sub woofer. I wiggled the purple connector around and it eventually went in the area. I tried another color of the originals and it smoothly connected so I know that the problem is with the replacement's shape.
