Is this a solid black necklace or is the black just painted on? I don't want a necklace where the black wears off or starts to flake. Thanks.

What is the diameter for the ends of the chain? Is there a seam in the loop at the end where it could be separated and reattached?

Does the 2mm have a smaller chain end or fastening loop then the 4mm chain ?
