Arazo Nutrition Prostate Supplement

It can be difficult to determine the benefits of any supplement after taking it for only a short period of time. In addition the FDA has no control or power over supplement companies who claim their supplements actually contain the ingredients they are purported to contain or may accomplish the specified goals of taking the supplement. I do hope that there will be greater oversight and laws holding these companies accountable so that the consumer actually gets what they pay for. Never the less, it is my believe that most of the supplement companies are honest and I do believe that the BioScience Nutrition company is one of them. Most men do not have prostate issues until they are older if at all. However, it is not uncommon for older men to have these issues symptomized by frequent evening urination, erectile dysfunction and others problems. This prostate suppliment's main ingredient is Saw Palmetto which is something I had not really been aware of. After some initial research I discovered that Saw Palmetto has been shown to slow the production of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which helps improve prostate health. This enzyme converts the male hormone testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT contributes to many common health issues in men such as loss of libido, an enlarged prostate and hair loss. By taking saw palmetto extracts, you inhibit the production of this hormone and avoid these issues that are seen in middle-aged and older males. In addition to Saw Palmetto extracts, this Prostate Supplement also contains a proprietary blend of over 20 ingredients that act synergistically with Saw Palmetto to increase its effectiveness and improve prostate health. There are no proven negative side effects of taking Saw Palmetto extracts. Despite being 67 years old, I have a very full head of hair, rarely ever get up in the middle of the night to urinate and have regular check ups. So what did this supplement do for me? I noticed that my urinary stream is stronger and more consistent. I had developed some start/stop urination issues replacing my once strong and steady stream. That steady stream is back again as it was when I was younger. Not really sure what it is doing for my sex life, nor how or what it will do but, I have not been taking it for very long at this point. This is my second review of this product. The first one never materialized on customer reviews. I have been using Prostate Supplement Saw Palmetto +, for close to two months in conjunction with two prescription drugs which are meant to reduce the inflammation of my prostate. I have been on the two medications for about six months with minimum improvement on my enlarged prostate. My doctor a couple of months back suggested installation of a mechanical device to improve urination. I then decided to postpone the operation and instead approach my problem holistically. That's when I researched for the best SAW PALMETTO herbal combo and decided on the BioScience Prostate Supplement. I have had a much better discharge since I have been on this product,and there has been no side effects. I think anyone with a benign prostate enlargement or inflammation should give this one a try.

I wanted to try the Prostate Support Saw Palmetto Enhanced product due to 1) Positive reviews by other customers and 2) Mediocre results from using the Super Beta Prostate product for months on end. After approximately a month and a half, there is a noticeable improvement in my bladder emptying and less urges to go to the bathroom. If the product continues to provide me with these kinds of results, I would be willing to give it 5 Stars with no hesitation...this is the answer guys like me have wanted for years!

My June'18 annual wellness doctor visit bloodwork showed a jump in "PSA, Total" from 1.4 (from my last visit in 2015) to 3.0, still in the Reference range of < or = 4.0 ng/ml. During this 3 year time I had stopped taking Beta Prostate in mid-year 2016, which I had been taking for 25 years. I also modified my over 30-year mostly vegetarian diet to a much higher raw, fresh fruit, vegan intake with some veggie salads, and occasional steamed veggies. I started taking the Prostate Support in July 2018 and will continue to take this supplement to see if it makes any change to my "PSA, Total" on my 2019 wellness bloodwork. I chose to try this product due to the high number of natural plant ingredients, in addition to the Vit E, B6, zinc, copper, and selenium chelate. Two ingredients that are not in Prostate Support (PS), and are in (Super) Beta Prostate, that I'm curious about the effect are Lycopene and Beta-sitosterol. PS does have "plant sterol complex" but I'm not sure if it is the same as Beta-sitosterol. So this is my background and current situation for taking PS. I'll update this review after my next blood work to report my results of the PS product. I'm not taking any meds of any kind, and have not over the last 30+ years. My rating of 3 stars is just a neutral rating since I don't have results to make a comparison yet. Late-60's Boomer
