Smooth stuff
The paper is smooth and works for all mediums. There is only a slight warping when I use watercolor but that is to be expected. there is little to no bleed when using a brush pen.

Nice drawing paper
This paper is thicker then I intended and it's very smooth but drawing on it was very nice.I would recommend this drawing paper to anyone looking for a thicker paper.

Color pencils
Excellent paper for color pencils. Just tooth & smooth enough for colors to blend.

Excellent sketchbook
These are really nice sketchbooks. I'm actually surprised at the paper weight and quality. The pages are bright white and very smooth (hot pressed). So far I have tried watercolors, gouache and ink and I did not get any buckling. I haven't tried washes, which is usually when most of the buckling happens, but fairly thin watercolor paint in medium size areas did not cause me any issues. The price for this quality paper exceeds my expectations.

Great for what it is…a cheap sketchbook
I’ve been watercolor painting for years and anyone who knows what they’re doing knows it’s best to use 100% cotton rag paper. This is not that but I was aware going in I was buying a lesser product. I usually buy Arches paper in bulk and then cut it down to make my own 5x7 sketchbooks. But I wanted to see what it would be like to be able to draw and paint with more surface area. The pros: sturdy, thick paper, doesn’t warp, smooth thus takes lots of details with my pen. The cons: as this is not cotton paper what happens when applying watercolor is it will sit in the surface and not get absorbed/accepted by the paper which causes streaking and uneven color as you can see in the green walls of the photo I included. It’s not the end of the world and considering the price I find this to be a good product even though it doesn’t allow for proper/traditional watercolor painting. I still prefer higher quality cotton but still grab for this sketchbook when I have a larger detail heavy painting to do.

Great product for drawing and acrylics
I am not quite a rank beginner but close, so my experience is limited. This is better for acrylics than Strathmore 400 watercolor paper. Pages are smooth - not a lot of tooth but enough for learning to sketch with graphite or colored pencils. I have not tried it with charcoal. Works fine with pens. I think it is an especially good deal for the price. Someone with a lot more experience than me might have a different take on it, but those are my thoughts.
