This was acquired not for use as a pen & pencil holder but rather to keep my eating utensils in while traveling (I don't like using plastic ware when out in town getting a quick bite nor do I like using the multi function and often undersized utensils many use camping). This case holds my eating utensils securely and keeps them from rattling around making noise when out in the field. Easy to keep attached to the outside of my backpack or my travel pack. Seems to be well made with good quality material.

This pen case is an excellent way to protect your favorite pens or pencils. The only thing that I think that could improve is a small lining in between the sections for the pens to prevent any potential rubbing they might encounter while in your pocket or on the road.

Its good but the material feels like spandex im nit a fan of that.

My husband was forever losing his favorite pens and stylus into the abyss of his laptop bag, resulting in multiple purchases to replace "lost" pens. Because this case is so accessible (it clips to the outside of the bag easily) it has eliminated the problem. Now he always has a pen at hand when needed - and he no longer spends 20 minutes grumbling that someone must have taken his pen again, only to find it the next time he emptied his bag.
