This was a life saver!
My mother 71 year old mother had major ankle surgery (fusion) that required her to be non-weight bearing for 8 weeks. I bought a knee roller thinking that would be the best way for her to get around but I was completely wrong. Those are unstable and not easy to maneuver around in the home (especially for an elderly person already weakened from surgery). While in the hospital the physical therapist put this kneeler on a walker and my mother instantly felt more stable and confident. Prior to this they were telling her to hold up her one leg and hop on the other...again, easy for them to say but for an elderly woman that is not feasible. With this kneeler, she was able to lean on her knee, use the walker for stability, then move her good foot forward with ease. The other great thing about this seller/Amazon is the speed in which I received it. I needed it quickly since she was being released from the hospital. The local medical supply company told me three weeks to order it, the manufacturer told me at least a week but I ordered it from Amazon and literally had it within 12 hours with expedited shipping! Its been life saver! Very heavy duty metal with plenty of sturdy but soft padding for the knee. If you know anyone that needs to be non-weight bearing for a long period of time this is the device to get!

A bit pricy comparatively, but essential.
It is an essential purchase to keep my recovering foot truly non weight bearing while using a walker. This item is sturdy enough for the knee to rest on. Wish there is a bit more cushion. However, it is only noticeable when the knee is not placed squarely on the support.

Poor quality
The support is great. The material used for the knee pad does not hold up at all. Have used for 2 weeks and the are holes in the material. Should hold up better for the money.

was what we needed
My wife needed this attachment for her walker after her leg was amputated. The attachment works great but for $200 I wouldn’t thought it would be a DIY project. 1 arm was not attached and the attaching cap bolt was in the bag loose, like it had fallen out and the attaching nut was loose in the back of the bracket. When I tried to install the cap bolt to the nut, it failed into the attachment but didn’t go too far.It is well made, but if it’s going to be a DIY project you need to let people know. It’s no big deal for me but if my wife had to do it you would get it back. I do feel it’s over price, a walker $100 or less.

Helpful but not durable
I ordered this product in Dec and just began using it 3 weeks ago after being placed in a boot. I realize the boot causes friction but the entire cover along with the rubber covers are falling apart. I only weigh 158 so I’m not over the weight limit of the product. It is extremely helpful in getting around my house but I’m not sure it will last for the duration of my infirmaty. I don’t feel the workmanship warrants the cost of the product

This item is quite heavy
My husband had to be off his left foot for 3 mths. Once he was strong enough to start weight bearing on his right leg this Kneeler gave him much more freedom around the house and to be upright for a short time to accomplish tasks which was sometimes difficult to do from a wheelchair. He had to be careful not to overwork his right knee joint. My husband is 81yrs and the use of crutches was not an option. The kneeler was removed once he was able to put weight on his left leg. It is also adjustable, higher or lower. Well worth the expense.

Life saver
I’m 71:year old male and this knee trough to mount on a walker has been a life saver for me. I had ankle surgery and non weight bearing for 8 weeks. Let me get around in the house as I’m by myself. I’m now 50% weight bearing but still place my knee in it on occasion when making my food. Only thing is that it could use a bit more cushion as it was starting to sore my knee. I taped a wash towel folded with a sponge to help with that. Seen they’ve been out for 10:years maybe longer and my foot doc, hospital, and nursing home had never seen one. They were impressed. Got me out of nursing home sooner.

Didn’t work for me....
I ordered this product to use following an ankle replacement to use during a 3 month recovery with NO weight bearing. The basic idea looks good but even with the aid of my physical therapist I found it difficult to use safely. It attaches to a walker and while it does keep an ailing leg elevated, I found it difficult to maintain good balance, definitely a high risk issue following ankle replacement. For me, a knee scooter has been a far safer option and very easy to use.
