The colours were exactly as shown in the picture, everyone being different. They are of a high quality and very nice to use. I bought them for card making and sewing on card stock was very easy they show up fantastically against dark card stock. I am really pleased with them and would order again when I need to.

the colours are very vibrant, I use for pricking and stitching. The only thing I would like is to have the end easier to find, I did get 2 colours the same but not bothered because all the colours are beautiful

Really nice thread to work with

You get what you pay for, but because the write up description for this item was good , I thought I would give it a go, although they are lovely colours I was not pleased with the performance of the thread while filling in , but as a straight stitch it was fine, I will probably use them with other craft projects with my grand children, but not for machine embroidery, worth a try but as it seemed, too good to be true.

These metallic threads are so lovely, there’s every colour you could need and plenty of it. It’s unusual stuff, extremely fine which is great for threading the needle, but it seems more like a nylon thread rather than polyester, it’s almost like an ultra fine fishing line, but not quite as plasticky, very hard to explain. One thing I really like is the lack of fraying. I recently bought the Gutermann metallic thread and I’ve had a lot of problems with it fraying, making it almost unusable. I must point out that I hand sew/embroider, I don’t use a machine, so don’t know what these threads would be like in a machine, but for hand sewing they’re great. As far as calling them metallic, well, they’re definitely shiny, but the only ones I would call metallic really are the gold and silver. Other people have experienced problems with finding the end, I’ve not had too much of an issue with this. If you look closely, there’s a “tail” which, if you get a needle and insert it where it crosses over the main body of the spool, you can loosen it and pull it out. Yes, a bit fiddly, but it’s fine. I like them, and I’d buy them again.

I’m impressed with this set of threads. They did seem pricey but for the different colours you get you’d probably pay more buying them individually. The shades are attractive, I’ll probably use them all eventually but it was the blue and green shades that I was most interested in. I can’t say how they perform in a sewing machine as I use them for goldwork embroidery which is by hand. They weren’t on Prime but arrived so fast it made no difference. I certainly will buy another set when I need them.

Habe noch nie so schlechte Qualität bei einem Stickgarn gesehen. Nach dem Einfädeln in die Maschine löst sich der Faden in seine Einzelteile auf. Trotz Metallic Nadeln, Avalon Folie und minimalee Geschwindigkeit konnte ich kein Ergebnis erzielen
