Had I known how easy these were to replace and how inexpensive they were, I would have purchased them years ago. 2 min to install and the back window stays up and I don't have to worry about it coming back down on my head.

Replaced originals when they failed. Relatively easy install. You’ll need something to support the glass when installing. I used a step ladder. Works well.

So happy I no longer have to hit my head on the glass hatch any more. The struts weren’t dead but on colder days, the door hung lower and I’d hit my head unexpectedly. These new struts fit perfectly on my 2004 Excursion and have a crisp and positive hold on the glass door, holding it in the all the way up position. Well worth the nominal cost. Suggest having an assistant help hold door up while swapping out the struts. Door is fairly heavy.

They worked fine for about 2 weeks, then they just stopped working.......lost their hydraulic pressure. I missed the return window so they were a total loss. Be warned.

Arrived very quick, much faster than the Amazon shipping, nice packaging, except the ends blew out and the shocks were bouncing around in the box. Very easy install, and they work perfect. Holds up my Excursion rear window like a champ, should have replaced the olds ones years ago. Very happy, great service.
